"Ace, Alison wants to see you in her office." The nurse said. I got up and walked to her office. She opened the door and I locked eyes with Angel. I sat down. She closed the door and sat down at her desk. I glanced at Angel. "We're planning on releasing you today." She started.

"Thank god, I was starting to get bored of looking at four blank walls." I sighed. Angel looked at me. "I'm serious." She said. "I know. I'm being serious too." I said. "Considering the circumstances that you have been doing everything you're supposed to and being asked to do, you have been for 5 months now. You also haven't cussed at anyone." She said.

"Am I being released or not?" I asked. "You can be nice." Angel said. "You are being released, but, one thing falls out of place you are automatically being put back in here." She said. I nodded. "You may go home now." She said. "Can I have my phone back?" I asked. She got up to opened her filing cabinet. She handed me a basket full of my stuff. "Thanks." I said.

She leaded us out of the building and I got in Angel's passenger seat. "What did I miss?" I asked. "Nothing." He shrugged. I was gone for 2 years. I had to miss at least one thing. "Okay." I sighed. He started his car and started driving. "Where are we going?" I asked. "School." He answered. I nodded in response. "I'm surprised you remember me." I said. "I have no choice." He said. Does that mean he would forget about me if he could?

"What do you mean?" I asked. "I have a girlfriend. She's captain of the cheer team. Her name is Aliana. You're not her. Forget we ever had anything. Please." He said. I pulled the note he gave me on my first day there and read it.

Ace, I know. I'm not upset with you. I'm just trying to help you get better and unfortunately my last attempt is this. I didn't want to have you locked in a room without anyone or anything else but paper and coloring materials. But, if I want you to get better I have to do it. I don't want you to be away for an entire year, but I know it's what's best for you right now. I'm gonna try and come see you sometime this week after school if I have time. I promise. I love you too. And I will most definitely not cheat on you I swear. Just try and keep yourself entertained in there. I love you.

I looked up at him. He never broke up with me. He said he would never cheat on me. That's what he did. I shrugged. He parked his car outside the school and we got out. I grabbed my book bag and went into the office to check myself in. Everyone dropped their stuff and went wide eyed. "Oh my god, she's back." Ms. Adam's said.

"I'm back." I said. I checked in and got my schedule. I went into the hallway and everyone went silent. Angel stood next to me and I looked at him. "You have a lot of questions coming your way." He whispered. He walked away and Levi walked past me. I looked down at Angel. He looked at me. "Well I'd be damned to say it. They let you out." Eli said.

"I'm not in the mood to deal with you anymore. Stay away from me." I said. "I'm only just getting started. I'm your worst fucking nightmare." She said. "Then, you clearly haven't met me yet if you think that." I smiled. "Watch yourself, Byrd." She said. "No, you watch yourself." I said. I walked past her, purposely bumping into her shoulder. I looked at my schedule and went to my first period.

"Ace?" Mrs. Baylor asked. "It's me." I smiled. "Oh my god." She smiled. "You're fucking joking." Someone said. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'm Angel League's girlfriend." She answered. I smiled at myself. "Careful. I might take your man." I laughed. "He doesn't want a psychopath in his life, nonetheless date one." She said. "I'm a psychopath." I smiled. "I've heard otherwise." She said.
