The flight landed in New york after 10 hours and the family retired to their new home there. Chris told them to get ready and they left to have food outside. They went to a restaurant and had their seats. Chris placed an order and the food was served. They ate the food and were about to have ice cream for their dessert. Mariya denied and watched them eat it.
Aerendelle: You called Bryn?
Mariya: Yes, but he didn't answer.
Liya: Why don't you call him again? He may be also waiting for your call.
Mariya: I already did before leaving the house and I don't want to disturb him.
Chris: You girls will be going to school tomorrow.
Liya whined hearing Chris's statement causing them to laugh at her. Mariya stopped her whining with her word and Liya glared at her but Mariya just chuckled at her not paying more attention to her.
Mariya: Girl, you are not a kindergarten student just shut up and go to school with me tomorrow.
Liya: Girl, you shut up and I want to at least enjoy the atmosphere for two days.
Aerendelle: just stop you sisters. Don't start your quarrel here too.
Liya: Mom she started first.
Aerendelle: She didn't say something wrong and you are going to school tomorrow with her.
Mariya nodded and they left home. As always Liya slept on the way back home. They all retired to their rooms as they were tired. The next morning Chris dropped the girls at school and went to his company for work.
At New York school ;
A girl came and welcomed the sisters. She introduced herself as the student welcoming committee member and her name is Neeyu. She was the same age as Mariya. Neeyu led Liya to her class and accompanied Mariya to their class.
Neeyu: Hey, I'm Neeyu Richmond and I'm a member of the welcoming committee. I heard you guys are new to our school.
Mariya: Yes we are and we got transferred here because of our father's work. She is my sister Liya.
Mariya said her hand towards Liya who stood beside her. Neeyu waved her hand at Liya and she replied with a smile. They left for their classes and the class started. The teacher asked Mariya to introduce herself in the class.
Teacher: Hey guys we got a new student here and she got transferred here due to her father's work. Let's welcome her.
Mariya: Hey all, I'm Mariya and I'm new here.
Teacher: We welcome you Mariya and I'm your home class teacher and I'm Richard Hunter.
Mariya: Thank you.
Mr.Richard: You can take your seat next to the window there.
Mariya sat on the chair allotted to her and the class started. At lunch time Mariya got seated alone in the cafeteria having her lunch. A group of three to four girls came towards Mariya and started to talk sitting across each other.
Girl 1: Hey you kid, I'm Grace Dawson.
Mariya: Hello, thank you for your attention and I'm Mariya don't call me kid
Mariya left there leaving the girls dumbfounded there. The girls were furious at Mariya's action and left there. Mariya came to her locker and kept her things there. She saw someone behind her and turned back. She saw Neeyu standing there.
Neeyu: Hey Mariya, we didn't get to know each other well because we were about a minute late.
Mariya: Yes and I've encountered some girls in the cafeteria and I left from there.
Neeyu: You mean Grace Dawson.
Mariya nodded and saw Neeyu's jaw drop. Mariya was confused at her act.
Mariya: Hey, why are you so surprised?
Neeyu: She is the badass of the school and the most popular among the boys here.
Mariya: Oh, then.
Neeyu: You have encountered a fire she's going to blow you up.
Mariya just chuckled at her statement and started to walk for the class.
Neeyu: Dude, you are chuckling at me not knowing her attitude.
Mariya: *smiled* Dude let me know her attitude then. The school will get me wrong if I start a war on my very first day.
Neeyu: You are really a calm girl.
Mariya: *stare* again, address me with my name and not as a girl.
After school Chris came to pick the girls from the school. Liya was ranting about her friends in the school and Chris smiled at her ranting.
Mariya: Enough Liya. Leave something for mom.
Liya: You are jealous of me because I got more friends than you.
Chris: Don't you make a friend princess?
Mariya: I've got one dad and I encountered a girl named Grace Dawson and she looked like a badass.
Chris: Oh, my devil encountered a badass and who knows what consequences that baddas girl will get.
Chris joked at her and Liya started to laugh her soul out.
Mariya: Dad stop.
Chris: What was your new buddy's name?
Mariya: Neeyu Richmond her name and she told me about that Grace Dawson. My homeroom teacher's name was Richard Hunter. What about you Liya?
Liya: My homeroom teacher's name is Danny Gale and he was so sweet and soft. He even gave me chocolate on my first day.
Mariya: On the first day dad.
Liya: Stop it guys. I was just saying he is too good looking.
They reached their home and Aerendelle offered them water and snacks
