"Ms. Vergara, this is your last warning! Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko sa 'yo kung parating ganito ang ginagawa mo!"

I wondered if the Dean had a heart condition. If he did, he might have had an attack by now, given how furious he looked. Hindi naman siya 'yung sinapak ko kanina sa library. Fortunately, he didn't call my dad this time. Maybe he decided not to after what happened last time.

"Do you even know the father of the girl you... punched?" The Dean sighed, as if he'd had enough of me. "It's Sen. Valdez —"

Hindi naman ako natatakot.

I placed my fingers on my chin, pretending to think deeply. "Oh, you mean the corrupt senator po ba? Sayang, dapat pala mas nilakasan ko pa 'yung sapak."

His face turned red, and he bit his lower lip, obviously trying to compose himself. Kudos sa 'yo Dean! "You can't just go around punching people you don't like, Ms. Vergara... Hindi porket kilala rin ang tatay mo ay gan'yan na ang asal mo."

Would he understand me if I told him that the senator's daughter said something awful about my friends?

I sighed, knowing that he would never understand or take my side. That's how the world works – people just suck up to those in power. Wala namang bago, nasa Pilipinas ako, eh.

I leaned back in my chair, glaring at him.

"So... what?" I said sharply.

"Your behavior is unacceptable, Ms. Vergara!"

He would never... get it.
