(No One's POV) 

(Name) woke up after she reached out and grabbed the closest thing to her. It was her sister. Nezuko was still alive. Her head is still attached. (Name) felt big fat tears fall from her eyes and the overwhelming need to cry. She pulls her sister close and cries openly, thankful her sister is still alive. 

"Good, you are awake." The Demon Slayer, Giyu says as he looks at her. 

She sat up and pulled her sister close to her. Grabbing the hatchet that was also next to her. "Do not come near us!" She warned. 

He ignores her and tells her what she is to do next. "Go see an old man named Sakonji Urokodaki who lives at the foot of Mt. Sagiri. Tell him that Giyuu Tomioka sent you." He tells her and then looks at the demon, Nezuko. "She seems to be alright since it's cloudy now, but never let her be exposed to the sunlight, okay?" 

(Name) nodded her head and he looked at her. 

"And be safe, traveling with a demon, it may just cost you your life." He says, he did not like how that made him feel, but there was no stopping it now." 

Marie could not even answer him, because he was gone in the blink of an eye. 

'He is fast.' She thinks to herself as nezuko wakes up and she walks to her home with her sister. 

(Name) had to bury her family and make sure that they were put to rest. 

She got home and had Nezuko wait outside. She dug the holes and put her family in those holes as she prayed for them as she did. She will never come back here. This is the last time she will be home here. She takes a deep breath, taking her sister's hand. 

"Let's go." She tells Nezuko and begins to walk, she has to get to the mountain as soon as possible. 

-Small Time Skip-

(Name) and Nezuko have been traveling for some time now. Only at night so it made things hard. (Name) needed to find a solution to get there faster and safer. If demons came out at night it was not safe to travel at night. That is when she gets an idea. She has Nezuko hide in the cave during this day and go to the farm they passed during the night. 

"Excuse me, Sir." She speaks as she walks up to him. "Do you mind if I have that basket there, and some bamboo and straw too?" 

"Sure, not much good it is going to do you, that basket is full of holes." He tells her. 

"I can make it work, and I will also pay you for it." She tells him pulling out her money bag. 

"No need for that." He says. 

She looks at him before speaking. "I must insist sir." 

"And I am telling you it is fine!" He shoots back. 

They argue a bit, but (Name) puts the money in his hand by force and runs off with them. 

"I am sorry sir, but you deserve the money!" She calls as she runs away and makes it back to the cave. 

"Nezuko?" (Name) called. "I am back. Nezuk- ahhh!" 

Her sister was gone and no longer in the cave! 

That is when she sees her sister's head pop up from a hole she dug and (Name) grabs her chest. 

"You scared me Nezuko!" She cries out. "Just wait right there, I found a solution." 

She gets to work and makes the basket before crawling into the cave as well. "We need to keep moving during the day." She tells her sister. "So I got to see if I can carry you during the day." 

Nezuko blinked and pushed herself in the basket but she did not fit. She was too big, (Name) smiled as her sister was just so big now. It was only a few years ago that she was so little... Wait! 

"Hey, Nezuko, can you make yourself small?" (Name) asks. "Like how you made yourself big?" 

After a moment her body started to get small and then she looked up at (Name) and smiled. (Name) Look at how adorable Nezuko is! 

"AHHH!" (Name) hugs her sister. "You are just the cutest little sister ever!" She gushed. 

Nezuko smiles more at this and (Name) gets her ready for their long trip!
