A girl sitting next to her had a bright smile with dimples, she was sketching something and looked over at V before waving.
"Heyyy, youre so pretty ." The compliment made Harvey smile awkwardly and take out one airpod, placing it in the case and responding.
"You are too, thank you tho'."
"Im Cory, new friendsss?" The girl cheesed and put the pencil down. The classroom was quiet but theyre were a few people talking in the background.
V smiled too this time, she had a genuine smile and shook her head yes . "Sure, I was not tryna be a loner this school year, Tenth grade is mad weird." She expressed to Cory and received a quick nod.
"Honestlyy, I can relate so fucking bad. This school year is so new compared to last year and it just started." Cory complained and put her pencils back in the pencil box along with her sketchbook stacked on one another.
"Forreal' i'm done and it just started—"
"The bells gonna ring, want ma' numba'?" She said watching the clock.
Cory nodded and V ripped off a piece of paper from her notebook and quickly scribbled her number on it. She signed her name and passed the paper to Cory.
"Harvey? Yo' name is so cute girlll" Cory smiled and V laughed at how bubbly she was.
The bell rung and Harvey got her backpack off the back of the chair before making sure her phone was still in her pocket. Cory was quick behind her and walked beside her.
"Wha' class do you have?"
"Gym"
"Awh I gots Biology, Ima see you lata'" Cory hugged Harvey and walked away looking at her schedule.
Harvey put in her airpods again and turned her music up full volume. Inhale by Bryson Tiller was playing, her favorite song currently.
