It's been a while since Nick died and now Clara is on her own taking care of their daughter Nicki with the help with her parents and her brother. It's been two years and now Clara is 21 years old now. She's older and is living on her own. Her mother and her best friend Maddie are worried that she will never find someone again but Clara doesn't care. Clara thinks Nicki should come first and only think about Nicki. So Maddie decides to set her up with blind dates but Clara can't get Nick out of her head and thinks it's wrong, until she meets Josh. Josh understands what if feels like to lose someone that you love, especially the person that you loved was married to you and was excepting a child.
