I looked at the time again, it had been thirty minutes since I was sitting here, where was he? What can I even expect from him? As I looked around I saw someone approaching me, I quickly diverted my eyes back to the menu to avoid any conversation. Nonetheless, the guy approached me. I knew he belonged from a good family because only elite people were allowed inside the club. Yes, the club where my dad had invited Ahaan for the first time. We had decided to meet for lunch here to talk about 'how to break our engagement'.
"Excuse me, I noticed you were sitting alone for quite some time, is your date a no show too?" He asked politely.
"No I'm sure he will be here." I said avoiding eye contact.
"Well, if I was in his place I would never make you wait. After all a pretty lady like you deserves-" but he couldn't complete his sentence as someone interrupted him, "Deserves me."
Ahaan approached us with the same look I had seen him giving the two guys on the night when they were teasing me. I was dead scared of him that day, but right now I was scared for the guy who was flirting with me.
"If I were you, I would quietly walk away from here because the consequences of flirting with my girlfriend are never good." I heard him warn the guy and he quietly walked away.
"Why do you always have to scare everyone?" I asked as Ahaan took the seat.
"Why? Are you scared of me sweetheart?" He asked in a playful voice. "Also, I'm sorry Azaan took away my car in the last moment, because his ones are being followed so I had to wait for the other one."
"Scared of a guy who is scared of spiders? All I need to do is throw a spider at you." I retorted back.
"Also, anyone who does flirt with you does need to be scared away." He said in a serious tone.
"You aren't my real boyfriend. Anyone can flirt with me and I can flirt with anyone." I said knowing there's no way I would ever flirt with a stranger or anyone actually.
