I couldn't believe my sheer luck in a couple of hours. I was married to Dua. She was dressed up as my bride. Mine. I kissed her on the forehead immediately as we finished our nikkah ceremony.

A few minutes ago, my eyes were fixed on the entrance, time seemed to slow down. The moment Dua walked in, adorned in a resplendent dress that shimmered with every step, I felt my breath catch. She looked ethereal, a vision of beauty and grace, and the realization that she was about to become my wife filled me with a profound sense of awe and gratitude.

Her smile was radiant, a beacon that guided me through the haze of the moment. There was an undeniable connection between us, a silent understanding that this was our destiny.

As the ceremony ended, I lifted her veil and placed a forehead kiss because no words could convey our emotions right now.

But the moment was short-lived as my informer called me. He had been informing me every time my cars were followed and hid the trail. However, right now he informed me about what I had been waiting for. They had arrived in this area and it was only a matter of time before they would discover our beach house. But what I hadn't expected was the Maliks had even informed my family that I had made Dua run away and had asked them to come to see the proof. Double trouble.

"They're here." I informed everyone present. Dua's smile turned away but I quickly held her hand and pressed it slightly. "We are in this together."

Our beach house was only a few minutes drive away. We drove there  in complete silence. "It's only a matter of time till they get here. It's going to be a long day why don't you freshen up." I asked Dua and she nodded leaving. Her friends left with her and I was left with my brothers.

"Why were Shayra's eyes red?" Ahaan spoke up immediately addressing Kabir.

"Who knows?" Kabir shrugged.

"She was fine till the wedding and she came here with you so what did you do my brother?" I asked Kabir.

"Why do you care suddenly? Not an hour being married and already questioning your brother for your saali?" Kabir complained instead.

"If Shayra is sad then Dua will be sad and I will be damned if that happens on the first day of our marriage." I answered.

"I don't know what's wrong with her. I'm just happy my brother is married and the other one is engaged." Kabir replied shrugging and I knew he was lying because he barely ever lied hence he simply couldn't do it properly.
