CASSANDRA'S POV
"Wah!! Oh my G! Oh my G! Cassandra, goodluckiesss! I'm so excited sa laban mo!" tahimik akong nakikinig sa mga pinagsasabi sa 'kin ni Lexna.
Hating gabi na pero hindi pa rin kami natutulog since sasabay pa raw silang tatlo sa mga ibang students na maghuhunt ngayong gabi.
Kani-kanina lang kasi ay in-announced sa buong campus yung laban ko sa isa sa mga Eclipse. Kaya ayon, pupunta yung mga students bukas sa arena.
"Lexna! 'Lika na't pupunta na tayo sa kagubatan!" Aya ni Selene sa kaniya bago bumaling sakin. "Hindi ka ba talaga sasama sa 'min, Sandra?" she asked.
Umiling ako bago siya nginitian. ". . . wala pa akong gana, kayo nalang munang tatlo." I responded. Tumango naman ito bilang sagot.
Inaya na niya yung dalawa bago ko lumisan sa dorm namin. Tahimik akong nakaupo sa sofa habang tumitingin sa kawalan.
"Sandra?" bigla nalang nagsalita si Elysia sa 'king isipan.
"Hmm?"
"Tulog kana ba?" she asked.
"Not yet."
"Pinapapunta ka ni Draven dito, he wants to talk to you about something."
"I'm on my way." tumayo na 'ko bago pumunta sa balcony. I already know their dorm since andun lang naman yun sa kabilang building.
I transformed into a dark crow, with my eyes turning red, giving off a sensation of burning, yet strangely beautiful.
Lumipad ako papaalis sa dorm namin at agad na nagtungo sa building ng mga Eclipse. Nakita ko yung mga lalaking nag-uusap, while the girls are meron ding pinag-uusapan na kung ano.
Tuluyan na 'kong nakapasok at dumiretso sa living room nila at dun nagbalik anyo.
"What's the tea?" I asked bago maupo sa bakanteng sofa. I feel so good right now, kaya nasa good mood din ako para mag feel at home sa dorm nila.
Pumunta na yung mga babae sa direksyon namin. Isinandal ko yung likod ko sa sandalan ng sofa bago tumignin sa kanila.

Plush velvet drapes framed the expansive windows, allowing soft light to filter into the room and illuminate the rich mahogany furniture that filled the space. On the walls, ornate tapestries depicted scenes of grandeur and elegance, while shelves lined with leather-bound books and gilded trinkets hinted at a scholarly pursuit of knowledge and refinement. A crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, golden glow over the room and highlighting the intricate details of the exquisite furnishings.
In a corner of the dorm, a writing desk of polished oak stood, its surface cluttered with quill pens, inkwells, and parchment, a testament to the occupant's dedication to their craft. Soft rugs in deep hues of burgundy and gold covered the polished hardwood floors, adding a sense of warmth and comfort to the luxurious surroundings. This dorm room was not just a place to rest one's head but a sanctuary of elegance and abundance, where every detail spoke of a life lived with refinement and taste.
"We called you because we want to talk about the battle later." pag-uuumpisa ni Draven.
"Ano'ng meron dun?" I innocently asked. Nasa likod lang yung mga babae sa mga lalaki at tahimik na nakikinig sa 'min, while the boys is ganun din.
Nakasuot lang sila ng manipis na t-shirt, kaya klarong-klaro yung mga maskulado nilang pangangatawan.
"We can cancel it, if you want too." he simply replied.
Napaayos ako ng upo sa narinig. "No, ayoko! And besides, gusto ko rin maranasan yung isang malinis na laban sa isa sainyo. Ayaw niyo ba 'yon?" tanong ko. Ewan pero bakit naman ata biglaan yun? Unfortunately, excited nga ako para mamaya.
Agad naman silang nagsinghapan sa sinagot ko. "We don't want you to get hurt, Sandra." Damien answered.
Hurt? At sino namang nagsabi na hahayaan kong masaktan yung sarili ko? Kung ganun naman pala ay para ko na ring hinahayaan na matalo yung laban ko.
"No, I can handle myself, Damien. Thanks for all your concerns about me, but I decline. Besides, before I entered this Academy, I already committed to being part of any ranks here. So why wouldn't I accept that opportunity if it will be the bridge to my victory?" I asked.
"We can talk to Headmaster Henzo about that-"
"No, I want a fair fight. I don't want to cheat just because you're my friends. I want to play fair- and I also want to prove to myself that I can, that I can fight."
'Yan naman talaga yung kailangan ko. Kailangan kong enjoyin yung paglalaban kasi baka hindi ko ma alam na baka yun na pala yung huli kong laban. "I will treasure every moment that I have because I know I won't be here for long.
"Fine, but-" I immediately cut off what Arc was about to say.
"If you're going to tell me to lose because you want to win, well, don't do it. Fight me with all your strength. I want the battle with any of you to be memorable; I want to treasure that moment even if I don't emerge victorious." I smiled at them.
"Hindi ako nagyayabang dahil sinabi ko ito sa inyo. I just want to experience that kind of battle. I want to create lasting memories with you. Even if my days are numbered, I want to carry with me memories of you all-"
"Sandra." pinutol ni Draven yung sasabihin at para itong nagbabanta. Napatawa nalang ako bago nagsalita. "Draven naman, I'm just telling the truth, okay?" usal ko.
They all know who I really am, they all know that I'm the descendant of Aurelia. And they also know that I have a curse.
"You're not going to die," he said firmly.
"We don't know," I replied with a weak smile.
Kahit sabihin nilang hindi yun mangyayari sa 'kin, ay hindi pa rin nila mapipigilan kung ano man yung mangyayari sa 'kin sa hinaharap.
