Valentines Day (l.s)

I will refer to Y/N as Lia

It was the first valentines day for Lia and Lookkaew, which Lia always named Loki. Since Lia knew that her girlfriend needed to work in the flower shop today, she decided to plan the afternoon and the evening herself to suprise her.

Baking her favourite dessert and making some fresh delicious fruit salad with all of her favourite thing, Lia had in mind to take her to the river side for a picnic and some star gazing together. The weather was nice and it should be the perfect clear sky later on. Lia made herself a playlist for the afternoon including some of their couple songs and some music they equally enjoyed to their own. Dancing around the kitchen she ordered a bouquet full of roses, a white plush dog with a red ribbon and a silver necklace in shape of a star.

Lookkaew was busy selling out every type of bouquet they had in their shop while her colleague made new ones. "Do you have someone waiting for you on this special day at home?", her co-worker asked. She sighed a bit sad. Lookkaew missed her girlfriend since they had not seen each other for quiet some days. "I do, but we do not live together so technically she is waiting but not at my home.", she tried to sound funny but it was more of a sarcastic tone instead. "I am certain that your special someone has something planed for you.", the other one said trying to upliften her mood. Lookkaew just noded and continued to sell the flowers to all kinds of people.

Lia tried on different outfits but was not satisfied with what she had choosen so instead of going into a frustrated mood she called her girlfriends bestfriend, Anda. "Hey small idiot, whats up?", Anda greeted her, always mentioning somehow that she is taller than Lia.  "Can you help me choose an outfit for the date later?", Lia sighed. "Mh, depends.. what are you both going to do? And where?", she laughed and Lia blushed. "Anda, its serious. We go to the river side for picnic after I picked her up and then stargazing later on. Sounds like a plan, doesn't it?", Anda was suprised. "Never thought you could be so romantic but I am sure she will love it since I have heard that she misses you terribily.", Lia tilted her head in question. "Drop more information, right now.", Anda smiled. "Just a few things but she told me that since you have been so busy with work and university she thought you might have forgotten her. But I was reassuring her that you just work towards your future together.", Lia was shocked. She did not knew that her girlfriend felt that way as she was always sounding okay and happy when they talked via facetime.

After getting inspired for her outfit and changing into the perfect one, she thanked Anda and looked at the clock. Almost 3 p.m. which meant that Lookkaew would be home in half an hour. Lia got everything settled in her car and she checked herself one last time in the mirror. She was nervous which she has not felt in some kind of time. But for her it was worth it.

Driving through the traffic she blasted some old school music to feel relaxed but once she drove into the driveway of her girlfriend she felt the nervousness coming back. Getting out the car she took the white stuff dog and the flowers and went up to her door. As she rang the bell her mother opened up the door. "Ah, my lovely Lia. Nice that you come vitit us again. Come on in! Loki is in the shower but go on and wait for her in her room.", you entered after bowing. "Thank you so much.", Lia smiled at her girlfriends mom since she knew her already for couple of years because of school. As Lia went up the stairs she heard the music playing in the bathroom. 'My love mine all mine' by Mitski. Lia showed her the songe and ever since Lookkaew would play it whenever she missed Lia.

Stepping out the shower, Lookkaew wrapped herself in a big towel and dried up her hair. Slipping into her carpet slippers, she made her way to her bedroom to change into some fresh clothes. Opening the door, she saw her girlfriend sitting on the edge of her bed. Instantly, she felt her eyes filling up with tears. "Lia..", she whispered and in a split of a second she got wrapped in a warm, loving hug. "Hey baby..", Lia said almost quietly. Both of them hugged each other as thight as they could despite the fact that one of them only was wrapped in a towel.

After a few minutes and some tears that dripped on the bagside of Lias shirt, they let go and looked at each other. "What are you doing here?", Lookkaew tried to sound staedy but was still a bit weak in her voice from the tears she had shed. "I am picking you up for valentines day, little one.", Lia said and got the flowers and the dog up to her. "And these are for you. Your facourite ones and a small plush dog that should procetc you from nightmares whenever we are apart.", lia said shyly. She was ready to say that but still her heart was about to explode from the sweetness she wanted to bring her girlfriend. "Wow, thank you. I-I thought you would have forgotten it..", Lookkaew said but was happy at the same time over the presents. "I would never ever do that to you. I know you have been missing me a lot lately so that is the least i can do, plan a perfect valentines gift by spending time with you, my Loki.", Lia said and her girlfriends just hugged her tightly again. "Baby, you need to get ready. You are still stuck in a towel. I will wait downstaires so you can change, okay?", Lia said, letting go and kissed her cheek but Lookkaew pulled her back to smash her lips at Lias. First suprised but then kissing her back Lia deepened the kiss a bit but parted then. "Come on now, you wouldn't waste my suprise mh?", she smiled kissing her forehead an going downstaires.

Lookkaew got ready and put the flowers in a vase and the dog on her sleeping pillow, it smelled like her girl, she must have had drained it in her perfume. That thought alone brought her to giggle before coming down. Her girlfriend and her mom were having a conversation about whatever and when she entered the kitchen both eye pairs where glued to her. "You look so cute, let me take a picture of both of you.", her mother said while Lia was speechless. Walking over to Lookkaew she shut her mouth again, blushing. "You are so damn beautiful, Loki.", Lia kissed her temple and intertwined their hands right as Lookkaews mom made a picture. "Have fun.", her mother said and both of them got in the car driving to the riverside. Whilst doing so, Lia had one hand on her girlfriends tigh, carefully caressing over it. "Thank you for coming with me, beautiful.", Lia said smiling. "Always, I can not wait to spent this time with you. I have missed you so dearly."

Arriving on the desired destination Lia took the blanket and the picnic basket. "Follow me princess."

Both were seated on the blanket under a tree, chatting about was was going on the last days and what the other one has missed so far. After a while of eating and speaking together, Lia leaned against the tree while Lookkaews layed down, resting her head onto Lias lap.  One of Lias hands caressed her head slowly and she closed her eyes just taking in the moment.

"I love you, Loki.", Lia said after a while of silence. Lookkaew just looked into Lias eyes. Her hand found herself on Lias cheek pulling her close. It was the first time that Lia had said it out loud. She knew it was true, she grew not only fond of her girlfriend but she simply was in love. Before closing the gap so their lips could meet, Lookkaew responded with a whisper but still loud enough to hear. "I love you, too.", finally, the desire became real and they shared a heartfelt kiss.

Watching the river and the people near by was a wonderful afternoon for both of them. They openly shared affection towards each other and also ate the prepared food. After the sky became darker, little stars and the moon already showed. "Wow, it looks so beautiful Lia.", She pointed up the clear sky and her eyes sparkled with fascination in it. Whilst she was focused on counting the endless stars, Lia got out the necklace she bought and carefully laid it upon her neck, locking it at the back placing a kiss under the lock. "What-", Lookkaew wondered and looked down, turning the star pendant in her hand. "This is so beautiful.", she looked at Lia. "I always wanted to get the stars for you, but since that seems impossible I thought this will make it too.", Lia smiled and got hugged. "This is surely one of my highlights this year.", she felt her heart racing by these words.

At 11 p.m. they packed their stuff and head back to the car. Leaning against it, Lia looked at Lookkaew. "So, should I drop you home, or would you like to come with me?", Lia smirked. Lookkaew smiled but then faked looking serious whilst stepping closer. "I do not know. Why should I?", she laid her hands on Lias shoulders and playfully looked into her eyes. "Mh, I do not know too. Maybe to see real stars before your eyes. I believe i could make you see them.", Lia said leaning in close while grabbing her girlfriends waist. "I am sure of that.", they deeply kissed what fastly turned out into a heated make out. Parting, both of them gasped for air and blushed. "Fast, i want to go home fast with you now.", Loookkaew said, going to get into the car. Lia just smirked to herself and licked over her lips, her girlfriend tasted amazing, as always.
