The characters of Kimetsu no Yaiba will be reacting to their future. This story is set one year before Tanjiro's family is killed by Kibutsuji Muzan.
The cast of this reaction fic is Kaigaku, plus all of the Hashiras except Himejima Gyoumei. I excluded Himejima because 1. He's blind and 2. Because I wanted to include Kaigaku, and manga readers will know they have history.
(Also I am biased for Kaigaku and I want to write about him.)
Kaigaku is sent to the theatre right after he meets Upper Moon One, but before he is turned into a demon. The concept of this story is that the 'movie' they are watching is essentially the story Zenitsu has written at the end of the manga. So this situation is because Zenitsu wished for Kaigaku to have a redemption, and the other Hashira are here to prevent other untimely deaths.
This story is also published on AO3 under the same title and author name. It's me!

For this story, I will write as if they are real. I think it's ok that Gotouge decided they are just for illustration purposes in the manga, but I want them to be real here. I want to write funny scenes like Rengoku accidentally setting things on fire.
