late nights in the middle of June

It was a warm night in the month of June. The sky had darkened, and the stars were starting to make their appearance in the sky. In the distance you could hear the busy city that never slept. Over on the hill, there was a young woman laying down, gazing at the sky. The woman wore black leggings with a simple black, long sleeve top. She had black trainers on that were well worn, over the top of her black top. She wore a baby pink jumper that almost matched her hair. She wore big, light pink glasses, and her face was covered in freckles.

The girl had been on this hill for hours. At first, when it was still light, the girl was reading a book (pride and prejudices), but now she was just looking at the stars. As the girl was star gazing, she could hear someone approaching her, so she sat up and tried to see where the noise was coming from. As she looked to her left, she saw another young woman who must have been around her age.

As she was taking in the other girls appearance, the girl said, "Hi i'm sorry to bother you, i didn't realize that anyone would be here, oh by the way i'm Ellie.'' When Ellie said this, she reached out her hand to shake the girl's hand.

"Not to worry, i'm Natasha." Natasha said as she shook Ellie's hand. 

Natasha looked up at Ellie, and too Natasha, Ellie looked beautiful. Ellie had jet black hair, her hair reached the middle of her back, and her hair looked full and healthy. Ellie face was pale, but she didn't look sickly. She was wearing a plain white baby tee with black leggings and chunky white trainers. Over the top of this, Ellie wore a baby pink, almost white chunky cardigan.

After what felt like ages, Natasha smiled and said, "You can join me if you want. I was just looking at the stars." 

Ellie smiled and sat next to Natasha, then they both laid down and looked at the night sky full of stars. after a  comfortable amount of silences, Ellie turned her head toward Natasha and broke the silence by saying, "Do you come up here often?"

Natasha turned to face Ellie and responded, "Yeah, its nice to get away from everything, you know?"

Ellie smiled, "yeah i know what you mean."

They again went back to comfortable silence but every so often, both girls were stealing glances at each other. once again, they started talking, getting to know each other. they talked about what interests they have, what TV shows they liked, their favorite films and what their favorite colour was. through the hours of conversations Ellie and Natasha laughed, cried and just enjoyed each others company. After a while they both got up to go their separate ways and head home.

Before they parted ways Natasha spoke, "could i give you my number,please?"

Ellie smiled, nodding her head and took out her phone and gave Natasha her number. 

"So i'll see you again?" Natasha asked. 

Ellie smiled, "definitely."

As they were stood together, they both looked at each other. Their eyes lingering on each others lips and after what felt like years, they both lean in and kiss. Both Ellie and Natasha melt into the kiss, it felt as they were meant to do this.
