"It's so beautiful!" Her eyes lit up as she stared at the interior design of her new room.she tried to wiggle free of his grasp, he gently set her down and patted her head still keeping his stoic expression "let's get you dressed then some sleep" she smiled at him touching noses again before attempting to walk again only to fall face first on the ground.
Poseidon let a tiny smile escape as he picked her up and placed her on the bed, he slipped the dress starting from the legs before picking her bum up gently to fully slip it on. He tucked her in and kissed her goodnight never changing his face.
Her eyes closed as she thought about all the times she and Poseidon had together, with that she had a peaceful sleep warm and comfy.
The next morning she was woken up by proteus "it's time for breakfast" y/n rubbed the sleep from her eyes and nodded. Slipping out of bed her feet hit the ground and realization dawned upon her "I can't walk"
Proteus nodded before walking over and wrapping an arm under her and picking her up. He swiftly made his way to the dining hall and sat her on the chair at the end. Her eyes stared forward at the chair at the head of the table 'I'm all by myself' her eyes then traveled to double doors in the back being burst open with maids and butlers putting out an array of food.
She looked at the food before her but settled on salmon daikon. Munching on it she turned to proteus "wan som?" His eyes slightly turned up from a hidden smile at her broken english "no thank you my lady" she smiled and stuffed her mouth again "after this we shall work on walking" A thumbs up was a sufficient enough answer for him as she went back to eating.
A few maids cleaned up when she said she was done and left out a snack platte as proteus requested, he lifted her up gently telling her the steps of walking. She followed carefully falling a few times. When ever she got frustrated he told her to get a little snack and a drink which happened a lot. A little scream erupted from her throat when she took her first steps.
"I did it!!" Proteus nodded and congratulated her giving her a tiny clap "good job, now walk to that other side of the room" she frowned "aww"
