TW: panic attack, mentions of suicide, suicidal thoughts and rape

The name on the screen felt like a physical blow. Memories, long buried, surged to the surface, a tidal wave threatening to drown you. Dizziness swamped your senses, the room tilting like a funhouse. Gasping for air, you mumbled, "I need some.. fresh air," your voice barely a whisper. Pushing past the bewildered group, you stumbled towards the nearest exit, desperately needing distance before the shock sent you spiralling.

Know anybody named Porco Galliard?

Porco..

The name echoed in your ears, a cold dread slithering down your spine. A torrent of unwanted memories flooded your mind, making your head spin. Panic clawed at your throat. You couldn't bear to relive that incident.

Not again.

"Stop it! Stop hitting him Alex!"

"This scholarship kid should know his fucking place."

"Hit him harder."

"How dare you touch her?"

"Stop it, Alex! Fuck!"

The white expanse of the hall that you were now in stretched before you, opulent and suffocating. Gilded pillars lined the way, reminding you how rich Eren really was. Reaching the imposing double doors at the end, your trembling hand grasped the cold metal knob. It wouldn't budge. Panic clawed at your throat, your breath turning ragged. Lungs burning, you fought for air, vision swimming at the edges. You were having another panic attack hearing his name.

A desperate heave brought your hand fumbling for the key in your pocket. The lock opened with a metallic click, a sound lost in the roar of your own heartbeat. Stumbling through the doorway, you collapsed onto your knees, the double doors slamming shut behind you with a heavy thud. Gasping, wheezing, you clutched at your chest, every breath a battle against the invisible force constricting your lungs from expanding.

Avery, Eren's grandmother, peeked out from the wide, open doorway of the living room, while Ymir was engrossed in her iPad in the playroom across the hall. As soon as Avery saw the distressed teen, her eyes widened, and she rushed to her side. "Honey, are you okay?!" Avery bent down and gently stroked her back.

Ymir poked her head out from the doorway of her playroom, her eyes widening in surprise when she saw the teen on her knees. Her eyebrows shot up, and she quickly put down her iPad, stepping out of the room with curiosity etched on her face.

"Is she high?"

"Ymir!"

Mikasa wrapped herself in her silk nightshirt, the cool fabric whispering against her skin. In her room, the only sound was the soft rustle of turning pages. Her worn diary lay open in her lap. Each turn felt like stepping through a forgotten doorway, reliving moments both cherished and raw.

A pang of sorrow struck her as she reached a particular entry. The corner of the page displayed the date - Eren's 18th birthday. It was the day he lost his parents.
