HEY EVERYONE GUESS WHOS NOT DEAD: THIS GUY. Anywho, I hope y'all enjoy!Word Count: 1292------------------------------------------Jack awoke suddenly to a piece of cloth pressed against his mouth and nose. He breathed in sharply and smelled the crisp, sanitary scent of chloroform. The forest was still cloaked in the cover of night with millions of stars overhead. He tried to sit up, but a giant weight had settled on his chest, a mangy, scruffy, smelly weight. Fuck.
He tried to wake Jeff up, but the other boy had rolled over and was sleeping soundly. Jack struggled, attempting to knock the thing off his chest and the cloth over his mouth but the chloroform was taking affect. The last thing he heard before he faded away was a smooth voice saying, "It's pointless now, you're coming with us."
A soft hand ran over Jacks face, tracing his features, then slapped him. "Wake up."Jack slowly opened his eyes and lifted his head. The forest surrounding him was gone and now he sat tied to a chair in what looked like the basement of a house. A grate covered part of the floor and the stairs leading up were made of rotting wood, crumbling away over time. Rust and other stains covered the walls and to Jacks left hung a noose. Finally Jacks gaze settled on the boy in front of him.
Liu. "What do you want with me?" Jack hissed, fighting against the rope.
Liu smiled a soft, welcoming grin. "Well, I just want to talk. I want to know why you and Jeffery were wandering the woods alone. I also need to know what the Slenderman wants with you." His voice was a comforting melody, a stark contrast to the scars that were littered along his face. "I haven't talked with Jeffery in years and, as you saw, my company was not welcomed."
"Yeah...yeah I saw that." Jack felt clumsy and slow talking with this man. All his words sounded like punches to his ears, unlike the melodic way Liu spoke. A way of speaking that seemed eerily familiar.
"So you could understand why I had to take you away. I merely want answers and a way to talk to Jeffery again." Liu pulled up a chair and took a seat across from Jack, unwrapping his scarf as he did so. "Every time I try to talk with him, he runs. He always runs when I just want to talk." Hanging his scarf on the back of his chair he sighed.
Jack looked at the scars tracing down Liu's neck.
Liu noticed the look and tilted his head. "These ones almost killed me. It was a horrible accident. You see, my mother had been drinking and she decided to get behind the wheel of her car and take a little joyride. Me and Jeffery happened to be in her path. I got the worst of the damage, while he took some damage. Luckily, mine was more physical while his trauma was all psychological. That's why he's the way he is you know."
"I- I didn't know that." Jack wanted to see Jeff, to ask him why he hadn't told him any of this, why he'd kept his demons hidden away. Speaking of demons, Jack's was suspiciously quiet ever since the chloroform. This should've been a red flag, since he was never silent, but Jack shrugged it off.
"Oh?" Liu leaned forward and rested his chin on his hand. "He didn't tell you about the car crash?"
Jack shook his head.
"Did he tell you why his eyes look like that?"
Jack shook his head again.
Liu frowned, his face molding into a pitying expression. "Did Jeffery tell you anything?"
"No.... I know next to nothing about him."
"And you just followed him blindly into the forest? Did he drug you or anything?" Liu looked concerned.
"Well, he had orders." Jack sighed and broke eye contact with Liu.
"Jack." Jack raised his head again to meet Liu's shocking green gaze. "Jeffery is, I don't want to offend you, but Jeffery is a dangerous man. His eyes? He did that himself. His mouth, that smile? He took a blade and carved it into his cheeks. I tell you this as his brother, he is insane."
Jack looked away again, struggling to breathe. So the man I've spent the last month of so with isn't a victim of some crazy assault, he's just crazy. It sounds so hypocritical to think, but I don't understand how someone could do that to themselves. "Why did that dog-thing ask Jeff if we was going to leave me like he left you?"
Liu winced and sighed. "Our mother was, like I mentioned, not the most responsible. After the crash, I was left bruised and broken in the hospital while Jeff was let out with little injury, but he never visited. Not even once. He left me alone and I want to tell him that. I need to know why he did it, why he abandoned me."
Jack's view of Liu shifted. Suddenly he wasn't this cruel man wishing harm onto Jeff, he just wanted to know, to heal himself. "I can help you."
Liu smiled tentatively. "Really?"
"Yes, if you promise to let me and Jeff go after."
"Of course." Liu grinned and stood up. "Thank you so much Jack, I owe you for this." He started to walk away.
"Wait, where are you going?"
"Oh I need to go do something; I'll be back don't worry." Liu winked and walked upstairs, leaving his scarf behind.
Jack sighed and looked around. I really don't want to believe him, but how can I not? He's so polite and I feel I can trust him, plus its not like Jeff would tell me the truth anyways. I doubt Jeff even knows I'm missing....
***Liu reached upstairs and ran to the bathroom. Bleach stains covered the floor and the splashes of blood remained. He searched frantically for a little orange bottle and caught a glimpse of his scarred figure in the mirror. His pupils had shrunk drastically, and his eye color was a lighter, more toxic green color.
"Long time no see," Liu watched himself say as he felt himself, Liu that is, drift into the passenger seat of the car that controlled his mind and watched Sully take the wheel. Liu could still communicate, but Sully controlled all actions. "I'm lying, you can't hold me back long enough for me to need to say that," Sully laughed and smiled, a wild look appearing over his face. "Now, when are you going to tell that poor boy in the basement that you're a filthy fucking liar huh? When will you tell him you're using him?" Sully grinned wider and pulled the little orange bottle out of the cupboard under the sink. "I fucking hate those pills, you should just let me control, its so much more fun. I want to gut both of them, see their organs spill out and finally make that monster Jeff pay."
Liu thought in a whispering tone: As soon as I get Jack to coerce Jeffery here, you can have control, but I need to get him wrapped around my finger first, he cares for Jeffery, and I intend to use that against the both of them. Just you wait Sully, my plan will work. When have I ever failed us?---------------------------------------------------------------------------A/N: OML HI YALL FINALLY A NEW CHAPTER. F I N A L L Y.
