Love will find a way

Part one. Childhood

Emily is 17 years old while Jake is 18 years old. Emily has a very little family, she only grew up with her mom and dad, no siblings. Meanwhile Jake grew up with a full house, he has 6 siblings and 4 half siblings so Jake always knew how to communicate and handle problems while Emily couldn't really figure those out considering she never had a sibling to bicker with.

Jake and Emily were never getting along, they would talk but when they did it was never nice (only occasionally) Ever since they were born they were always forced to hang out and be friends, but obviously they never became friends.

*This will mostly be written in Emily's POV and narrator's POV but when it's Jake's POV i'll write it down*

(Flashback from when they were 5-6)

"Jake, give it back!" Emily yells at Jake while trying to yank the toy horse he stole from her. "Never in a million years!" Jake says blowing a raspberry. Emily starts crying and goes to her mom. In the end Jake did not give that horse back.

(Now there older 17-18 Emily's POV)

I wake up at 5:30 to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ears. I get out of bed looking like a zombie, I barely have my eyes open and make it to my closet. I grab a hoodie and black leggings and go to my bathroom. I get my makeup done and tie my hair in a half up bun to head downstairs and eat breakfast.

I grab my school bag and phone and head down the stairs, my parents weren't awake yet which is weird, they better be up so they can drive me to school, otherwise I would have to sit with Jake in the bus. Sadly I haven't gotten my driver's license yet and Jake has but for some reason still takes the bus.

I look in the fridge and pantry to find absolutely NOTHING to eat for breakfast. What am I supposed to do now??? I grab a half ripe banana and sit at the kitchen counter to scroll on tiktok and maybe eat the banana. I look at all the tiktoks Jake has sent me about me being a weirdo, yk mean things I send him the rolling eyes emoji and the middle finger one. But suddenly I get a text from him saying that HE will be DRIVING ME to SCHOOL. WTF. I am not stepping into a car with a lunatic person. He'll get us killed! That's probably why my parents aren't up yet. School starts at 8:30 and he said he was coming to get me at 8:25 how tf is this kid supposed to get us there in fucking 5 minutes if I live 20 minutes away. Seriously, my parents cannot make me go into a car with him.

I got up from the couch and put the banana back where I found it, I totally forgot! My parents buy me Starbucks in the morning. I'm so stupid, that's why there was no food to eat! My parents still aren't awake yet and it's 7:30. I figured since I had so much time to waste I'll bring my dog Ginger on a walk. I get her and her leash and step out the door. There was a delightful breeze which made my hair get a little messy. I'm barely off my lawn and hear a car honking and honking and honking. Who tf is up so early honking at people, I turn around and see it's Jake. I flip him off and go back to my house to grab my things for school and put Ginger back. I go back out and go in the passenger seat. "Why tf are you honking at me??" I say with an aggressive tone Jake just laughs and starts driving at full speed.

"I thought you were coming to get me at 8:25" I say "you really think im stupid how tf are we supposed to get to school in like 5 minutes when you live like 20 minutes away!?" I roll my eyes and sigh. After a bit we got to where there are all the stores like gas stations, McDonalds, Kfc and my favourite Starbucks. Expecting Jake to go to Starbucks for me to get food I start saying what I wanna get. "I want a venti light caramel frappuccino with extra caramel, blueberry muffin and a  double smoked bacon, cheddar and egg sandwich that's all." "Wtf are you saying?" Jake says, passing Starbucks. "Jake, why tf didn't you go to Starbucks?!?!" "Because I never go and you didn't say you wanted anything" he says in confusion "I always go to Starbucks before school dumbass" I yell "Calm tf down we're not going to Starbucks we're already on the way to school!"

"Jake, I have not eaten breakfast yet. This is the only thing I eat for breakfast now LET'S GO TO STARBUCKS." I yell annoyed. Jake ignored me and kept going to school, "fuck you Jake" I say punching him in the arm. "You own me food at lunch time" I continue.
