My CSI head cannons

In these one shots/fanfictions, you'll see the implementations of my head cannons, so I thought I'd save you the confusion and write them all down here for you 💙 x

I hope you enjoy my stories, and feel free to suggest things to write in the comments

Grissom:
• Has had a past romantic relationship with Lady Heather that ended when Sara joined his team
• He plays piano in his spare time and has only ever written one song. The song doesn't have lyrics
• His father passed away multiple years ago, and he goes to monthly therapy to keep his emotions at bay
• He doesn't drink alcohol
• Has had a crush on Sara since they first met, but didn't realise it until a long time after
• He thought he didn't want kids (you'll see in a future story)
• To most people's suprise, he actually likes rock music as well as soul and classical (numerous others as well, but those are his favourites)

Sara:
• Is diagnosed with PTSD due to the murder of her father and is always heavily motivated in domestic violence cases
• Takes regular medication for this along side antidepressants and paranoia
• Loves to sing and is actually quite good at it, even though she's shy
• As well as being able to sing, she can also play guitar
• Cat lover
• Unsure if she wanted kids of her own or not, but would love to foster a young girl (much like herself)
• Has an older brother she didn't originally know about
• Became best friends with Catherine a few months after joining the CSI team as she helped her with things she didn't know how to tell anyone else about
• Did develop a small crush on Nick when she first started

Catherine:
• Always wanted another child, but suffered a miscarriage
• Has had a crush on Warrick for many years
• Wasn't very close to her mother after finding out Sam was her father
• Has moved twice after hard-hitting incidences with cases
• As a damaged ankle from her days of being a dancer
• Lives with anxiety after her daughter was kidnapped

Nick:
• Had a crush on Sara for a few months when she first started but only told Warrick
• Has had a previous engagement that ended in a separation which makes him reluctant to stay in long term relationships
• Apart from Warrick, one of his closest work friends is Greg
• Suffers from recurring nightmares after he was abducted and finds it difficult to work certain cases alone now
• He was a rodeo clown in college and can actually ride a horse
• Has been known to wear boots and a cowboy hat
• Can sing and loves to do karaoke, his favourite artists are Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell
• Dog lover and has had 3 in the past

Warrick:
• On multiple medications, including ones for insomnia
• Had a crush on Catherine but always tried to ignore it due to the slight age gap and the professional boundaries
• Has previously been to rehab
• Has a wrist injury after a fight he was in
• Wanted kids, but didn't do well in long term relationships
• Sees Grissom as a dad-character, he valued everything he did for him and wishes to raise any children he may have had like Grissom raised him
• One of the best shots in the team

Greg:
• Used to be a DJ in college and loves to write music
• He doesn't drink often, but when he does it's either cider or beer
• Party trick is that he's a fabulous dancer, especially the robot
• Trained really hard to be in the field, but his nerves always got the better of him
• Despite his age, his historic knowledge was better than all of the lab's, except for Grissom
• Him and Grissom often spent time together outside of work to do research for his book

Brass:
• Despite Ellie not being his, he has always gone above and beyond for her, trying his best to never let her know he isn't her father
• Has insomnia
• Suffers from flashbacks to when he killed a cop, he punishes himself whenever it happens
• His closest friend is Grissom
• Was the first one of the team to know Sara has feelings for him
• Has a slight heel on his shoe so his height differs when he's in 'uniform'
