Cate's P.O.V:

It's Tuesday night and Ivy and I are on her balcony

She's smoking a joint, and I'm just happily watching her.

I take a sip of her water and she smiles at me

She blows out the smoke and leans over to me in her chair and puckers her lips out

I happily lean in and kiss her and feel her smile against my lips

When we pull away she takes another hit

As she blows it out she bends over and starts coughing to the point I actually started to get worried

She takes a sip of water and looks at me and laughs

"Cathrine I'm fine, you are going to have to get used to that. Happens all the time."

I laugh as she takes another sip of water

We head back inside and she plops down on the couch

I sit next to her and watch as she scrolls through movies

Her long black hair is in a braid resting on her shoulder

I reach out and move a couple strands of hair out of her face and she looks at me with a smile

"I'm so happy you are here." She says as she rests her forehead against mine

My smile gets wider and I lean in and softly kiss her lips

"Always happy to be anywhere with you."

She scrunches up her nose and looks back at the tv with her big smile

"What's Ocean's 8? Have you ever seen it?"

I laugh and she plays the trailer

A couple seconds in she gasps

"BABE THATS YOU!!"

I laugh again and take the remote exiting the trailer

"Yeah I've seen it a time or two."

"Wow you looked hot."

I laugh "Thank you darling."

She suddenly looks at me

"What?" I ask confused

"Do you want to make a cake with me?"

"I would love that" I say with a smile

"Yay!" She jumps up and runs to the kitchen

I laugh to myself as I follow her

"Okay now what?" She says with a concentrated face

"Now set the oven to 350, have you ever made a cake before in ur life?" I say laughing

She laughs and sits on my lap waiting for the oven to heat up

"No actually, always wanted to though."

I forgot her parents weren't around much so it makes sense she hasn't

"Well I'm glad to have popped ur cake making cherry!" I say as I kiss her cheek

"Second one down, ur on a roll." She says standing up to put the cake in the oven

"What do you mean second one?" I say watching her carefully place the cake down

"Well I had never slept with a woman before you."

my mouth falls open and I stand up grabbing her from behind and pulling her into me

"You mean to tell me, that was with no practice?"

She laughs and turns around in my grasp

Putting her hands at the back of my neck she says

"Don't give me a big ego now."

We laugh together and sit on the kitchen floor in front of the oven watching it cook

Because she was just too excited to let it bake alone

Ivy" P.O.V:

"And she's in soccer right now, so she's loving that." Cate says with a smile

"Oh that's so fun! Edith sounds lovely."

She smiles at me and repositions her head on my lap

"You would love her Ivy."

"I can't wait to meet her!" I say excitedly

Immediately my heart drops and I'm reminded of the fact that she will only be in my life for a month

"Sorry Cate I di-"

"I forget sometimes too." She says grabbing my hand

I give her a small smile

"Let's go to bed!" I say pulling her from the couch to my bedroom

She laughs as she follows my lead and I close the bedroom door behind us

"I'm going to take a quick shower before bed if thats okay with you."

I say walking into the bathroom

Of course not go ahead she says sitting on the bed

Once I'm in the shower I stand under the warm water and close my eyes

Cate leaves tomorrow morning.

Only for 4 days, but still she's leaving.

And I'm going to miss her

Another Christmas alone

Pushing it to the back of my mind I start washing my body

Suddenly I feel cold air hit my back and I turn around to check the door is closed

My eyes look at the ground to check the door without having to look up

And I'm met with Cate's foot

My eyes travel slowly up her legs, to her stomach and chest, then to her eyes

She has a smile on her lips and speaks

"Can I join you?"

I smile and hold out my hand for her to take as she steps in the shower closing the door

I turn to face her and move to the side so the water runs over her body

Her eyes are locked with mine

She takes the loofa away from me and gently starts rubbing my chest with it

Moving slowly down my body she suddenly drops the loofa and her lips crash onto mine

The warm water runs down us as we're hungrily exploring each other

As she's kissing me she moves down and kisses my chin, then my neck, my chest, last my belly button.

Then she slowly works her way back up biting me along the way

Her fingers are drawing patterns on my inner thigh while I begin to breathe heavier

As her lips finally reach mine again I grow impatient and push her against the wall

As her back hits the tiles her nails dig into my sides as she pulls me back into her

My lips attack her neck and I whisper in her ear

"I'm going to miss you."

She leans her head back against the wall while breathing heavier

My hands touching every inch of her body

"How much?" She says trying to hold back a moan

I smile as I get on my knees
