•Ravens POV•
"Are you interested in helping me any way I need?" I ask. A look crosses his face before I quickly add, "Any professional needs. Of course."
"It depends on if you can help me as well. I'd like us all to get to know each other a little before we try to do business. What do you think?" He nods to us. I glance back at the twins, seeing them nod, I agree with them.
"I agree with you, we shall get to know each other better before conducting business. In a few hours, we are all going to the track on the outskirts of town. We enjoy racing, so meet us there and we'll talk more." I say as I order another shot. I turn from him and down the shot quickly, fixing my mask. He'll see my face soon, just not here, not around these people.
"Where'd the older man, Tag, go? Is he the leader or are you?" Jacob inquires. Elijah is my right hand, Zoey my left, and Jack is support. Elijah may be older and wiser, but they all agreed on letting me be in control. I control what missions we take, I deal with the business and financial side, and I organize and plan accordingly. I'm also gifted in hand-to-hand and almost all weapons. My specialties are swords, bows, and staffs. Elijah is in charge of all information, gathering details on the area and targets, and is the tech whiz. He's our eyes, manning the computers, cameras, and comms to make sure we all live and can have an advantage over our enemies. Zoey, who's loved all things dance and parkour related, helps us improve our fighting styles and agility while also finding ways to improve our equipment. She's nearly unstoppable with any gun she uses. And Jack sadly does not have much brain power, but he makes up for it in pure strength. He's virtually the tank and is best suited for hand-to-hand. He's also mastered the art of knives. He uses them as a last resort to surprise the enemy.
"The others look up to me, so yes. I am their leader. But we are all one. So if they have problems, I have problems, okay?" I tell him. It was a rhetorical question, honestly, I didn't care if he understood or not. I was just making it known. "And Tag is working. That's all I'll say for now."
He nods, taking the hint and walking towards his group. The twins are done fighting for now, but I'm not. I go to Randy and sign up for a few more.
_____________After winning three more matches, I decided it's time to head to the warehouse and see what Elijah's doing. From what I can see, Jacob and his crew are still here, most likely watching us. Hopefully, they don't try following us. I walk over to the table the twins picked, seeing a blonde in skimpy clothes hitting on Jack. Get it I guess.
"Yo, you two ready?" I ask them. The blonde looks up at me with a glare. Bitch, the fuck? Jack nods and pushes the girl off his lap before standing with Zee. The girl looks hurt as Jack basically ignores her as we turn to walk out. That honestly must suck. Oh well, I didn't like her anyway, she had a bitchy face. Our trio walks out the doors and head to our cars. I unlock, sit, and turn on the open comms system between all of us in my car. The small screen extends out and shows that Zoey and Jack are in their cars and online. I decided to say what I thinking,
"I have a feeling they are gonna try to follow us. Do you two want to go ahead and I take care of them, or do we want to split them up then lose them and meet back at the warehouse?" I look through my windshield at the twins in their cars, watching their faces as they respond.
"Option two." Came Zoey's response.
"Second choice." Came Jacks response.
"Alright, let's take the long way to the warehouse. They should be coming out soon if they're going to follow us. So let's get going." Almost immediately after I finish what I was saying, Jacob's trio came walking out the doors. I started my car and pulled out, Zoey and Jack following me. Once we pulled out of the dark and abandoned area where the arena hides, three expensive looking cars turn down the road beside us.
