A loud, blaring yet innocent chime plays throughout the train as you finally approach the last station until Naples.
As you exit the train with your small yet stuffed [Fav/c] leather suitcase dragging behind, you look around, enjoying the scenery of the open subway. You sigh as you go to look at the information board to see how long your wait will be for the next train.
You notice the only delayed train happens to be the one to Naples and damn near crumble to the ground as you come to the crushing realization that you may have to wait upwards of an hour. It's the last train until you finally make it back to your childhood and favorite city in Italy.
All you wanted to do was meet up with your father and brother and return to your childhood home and reminisce as you slept in your childhood room. If it wasn't obvious, you were raised in Naples Italy, though you were born in Sicily. You only moved because of the increasing crime rate that threatened your successful upbringing, which it unfortunately did.
When you moved, it was like an important piece of you was ripped out and left behind, to seemingly never be seen again.
The hardest hitter was the fact that you had to leave your best, best friend, Haruno Shiobana. He made everything funner and you loved engaging in mischief together. Despite being 2 years older than him, it was like you two were one and the same.
As you reminisce on your times together, you wonder if he even remembers you. It's not like you would've made a dent in his own childhood, seeing as he should be a freshman now at your old school.
You wonder if he's got a girlfriend, or even an entirely new bestie, both thoughts making you jealous despite not particularly having any feelings for him.
You sighed as you sat down and waited for the slow approach of the next hour, your heavy eyelids closing slightly as you begin to doze off.
Around 35 minutes later, a familiar ear splitting chime rang throughout the subway, signaling the arrival of the next train. Though you knew it wasn't yours, you still jolted awake at the brain-piercing noise. Luckily, upon further inspection, it was your train.
Your face lit up as you practically ran over to the yellow line, indicating that you're much too close to the tracks. You stepped back as the train arrived and rushed to claim a seat in the back. Unfortunately, there was already a sketchy man back there who tried to seem inconspicuous, but was immediately spotted by you. You furrowed your brows at him and sat as far as possible, not wanting any trouble.
You moved because of the terribly high crime rate in Naples, and you were only prompted to move back because you thought it had died down, but evidently not, as even the train ride back was a bit suspicious.

You finally enter your sketchy childhood train station, riddled with graffiti and trash, looking somehow worse than you left it. Your only real memories in this place were when you, your parents and older brother went to your favorite zoo that was rather far away, and when you thought you were leaving for good. You remember laughing at your father who kept being harassed by a lost pigeon, and the joy of harassing your brother the whole train ride there.
The latter however, well it was a little more grueling to think about, but it was now just a silly time to reminisce on now that you're back of course. You vividly remember how you felt upon leaving this city. Almost having an entire temper tantrum as you parted with your brother. He had followed you and your mother all the way to the subway, despite the warnings from your father. Unfortunately, this sudden leave was fueled by your parent's divorce.
