The Great Hall hummed with its usual energy, but tonight, the atmosphere was buzzing with an extra dose of excitement because of the upcoming Quidditch match. It was Gryffindor versus Slytherin, the most anticipated match of the year. Vienna sat at the Gryffindor table picking at her dinner; her anxiety completely destroyed her appetite. She knew winning was a necessity. As a seeker, the pressure on her was already immense, but knowing the repercussions of losing this specific game made it more stressful for her. Her mind raced, imagining the horrible comments her house would say to her if she failed. The winning team was to host the annual Halloween party the next day, and she knew her house would be extremely disappointed if Slytherin were to host instead.
A tap on Vienna's shoulder pulled her out of her wallowing. She turned around to see her sister beaming at her with the brightest smile. Vienna exhaled the breath she didn't know she was holding.
"Hey Vi! I know you are already in your own head and nervous but you'll be fine. Gryffindor always wins and besides you're the best seeker out there," Charlotte encouraged while sitting down beside her sister.
"Thank you, I'm just anxious to face off against Draco. I've heard he's not exactly a fair player."
"Oh, don't worry about him. He's pathetic and you know it," the hazel-haired girl reassured her twin, bumping Vienna's shoulder with hers. "You should really eat something."
"I'll try," Vienna said with a smile, trying not to disappoint Charlotte.

After dinner ended, Vienna made her way through the halls and down towards the Quidditch pitch. It was breezy out: perfect for a game. After getting ready in the locker room, she grabbed her broom and trudged her way toward the pitch. She took the deepest breath she could muster, understanding that the intense game wouldn't give her an opportunity to breathe quite like she just did.
Vienna made her way onto the field and gathered her team to strategize. She had spent the entirety of the last week spying on Draco's team. She knows every flaw, perfection, and trick they have up their sleeve. She also knew this wasn't cheating because every once in a while she'd spot a brunette boy, likely from Draco's team, observing her own.
As she started to speak, she spotted the same brunette boy out of the corner of her eye.
"Angelina, could you take over for a minute? We have someone trying to spy at the moment." Angelina nodded as Vienna went over to confront the boy that's been stealing information all week.
"Shouldn't you be practicing, mystery boy?" Vienna crossed her arms as she questioned the boy.
"My team has been warmed up for ages and we're plenty sure we can beat that lousy team you have, darling." the handsome boy grinned which infuriated Vienna even more.
"You want to bet?" Vienna challenged, looking the boy up and down.
"Certainly." The boy looked at Vienna, waiting on her arrangements for the bet.
"If my 'lousy' team beats yours..." Vienna started, thinking of something she'd want this obnoxious boy to stop doing, "you have to stop coming to my team's practices."
