King & His Weak Kingdom!

King & New Responsibilities!

In the world of... , A new king named "Hugo" has been elected and entrusted to his Responsibilities. now It was after the day of his coronation.

He was just sitting on his desk in his room.. Fidgeting a pencil as he tries to finish the documents and review the problems of his Kingdom.

"Hugo: Ugh.. I didn't want to be elected.. why was it me out of everyone else?!.." Hugo clenched his fist as he slammed his desk in anger, Then suddenly his retainers entered the room.

Hugo suddenly jumped seeing his retainers as his retainers looked around the room seeing the messy state of it.. they were 3 retainers, all of them females.. named, Athena, Dala, and Eder.

"Eder: Oi, young man.. you should be lucky to be the king, now chop chop! It's time to work!"

Hugo grit his teeth in anger as he just wants to stay in his room, he had no choice but to be chosen as a king since he was the next in the Throne.

"Dala: Eder.. I think it's bad for you to force him to work.. he might die out of exhaustion.."

Dala looked worried and she sighed as Athena nodded with Dala, so both of them quickly picked up the papers on the ground and sorted then as Eder sat down infront of Hugo.

"Eder: Just because you are the king doesnt mean you do everything you want.. now let's talk about the problems of our kingdom."

As Dala and Athens continue to sort the papers in the ground, Hugo looks at Eder and Sighed..

"Hugo: Fine, fine.. I wasn't even gonna plan to do everything I want, I could've created a harem if I wanted to.. but I didnt.. now sure, state the problems.."

Hugo sighed deeply as he leans backward on his chair.. lazing around.. there was so many problems in the kingdom.. Like, Poverty, Economy, Stability, And..

"Eder: First off, we have poverty.. our population is quite massive for the smallest nation, us.. Second off, we have our Military and Stability.."

"Hugo: Oh.. the Military? I forgot the old king didn't fund them that well.. so also causing the stability too?"

Eder nodded before Continuing as Athena and Dala sat on a chair beside Eder.

"Eder: Yes, Military is also the reason why our kingdom's stability is a shitfest.."

Eder sighed as Dala quickly pointed out

"Dala: Due to our lack of military and stability, the Paisan Republic is planning to conquer our small kingdom."

"Hugo: Paisan Republic?!, Isn't that the Kingdom to our north..? Well.. we gotta quickly fix our military and stability then.. the rests can be done later."

Dala sighed as Eder looked down..

"Dala, Athena & Eder: Please!.. your our new king.. bring Ferozi Kingdom back to its glory!"

Dala, Athena, And Eder looked down.. and begged.. Hugo thought they would help him fix the problems, but all 3 of them are only good at remembering and sending Messages.

Hugo sighed and looked a bit frustrated..

"Hugo: You 3 act so cocky, Especially Eder.. yet all of you can't fix a problem, only just send messages."

"Eder: You are our new king, we look up at you.. I know we see you as a lazy shut in, but I know you have potential.."

"Athena: We can do you a favor, Us retainers will try and fix the problems of Economy and Stability while you handle the Military and Paisan Republic."

Hugo looked pretty annoyed but also surprised as he looks nervous leaving his useless retainers to the economy.. but that just means lesser work..

"Hugo: Well then, You got yourself a deal! I will go off and fix the military while you 3 handle the Economy!"

Hugo excitedly looked at the 3 of them.. leaving him with only the military of Ferozi Kingdom is quite fun and nothing else to deal with so Hugo finds it a good trade.

Hugo walked with his guards to the nearest Military Camp.. as he arrives infront of the gates.. there were only 1 guards.. his guards quickly secured the perimeter as Hugo walked inside the Military Camp..

"Hugo: Someone there?! Is the commander here?!"

The Troops look at Hugo, And then a Troop Commander came out and greeted Hugo, the Troop Commander's name was Cuoto..

"Cuoto: Ah! Its your majesty.. come on in my office! We can discuss anything if you want.."

Cuoto was hoping to get the fundings needed for Ferozi's Military, As Cuoto led him inside the barracks and into his office.

"Hugo: So.. explain me the situation of our current military.."

Hugo sat down on a chair across from him.

"Cuoto: Well.. we lack necessary funding so we use wood or stone tools.. even bandits are better equipped than our military.."

Hugo found this seemingly true because when he entered the camp he can only see his troops on leather armor and swords or sticks.

"Cuoto: Our Moral is also low every rally and some men mutinied and switched sides to the bandits.. right now our biggest problem is the Paisan Republic, But without Moral or equipment we wouldn't stand a chance.. so.. we need funding for our Military."

"Hugo: Now that I think of it.. where does the tax even go if your funding is low."

Hugo questioned but better to not know and solve this problem later..

"Hugo: Okay then, since monthly our kingdom recieves 1,000,000 from taxes.. our troop numbers are just 1-3,000 men.. we would have enough to lend you 500,000 each month.. I want you to use that money to buy better equipment and recruit more soldiers Okay?.."

Cuoto mouth drops as he never expected to actually get funding from the kingdom.. Cuoto then looks at Hugo in a proudly manner.

"Cuoto: Y-your Majesty!! I will do so! Thank you so much!!"

Cuoto unexpectedly bowed down and quickly ran outside.. Hugo followed him not expecting him to tell the officers about their discussion.

"Hugo: Is it that bad?.."

Hugo chuckled as Officers and Cuoto continue to plan on where, what, how to use the funding, Hugo find this funny before one of his retainers pick him up from the camp in horse back.

"Athena: Your majesty, Come on its time to go! I couldn't t able to find a carriage so you have to ride with me."

Athena patted the horse while sitting on it.. Hugo then walked to the horse as he got on, Both Athena and Hugo sat on the horse as the Troops looked and escorted them to the palace.
