You snooped through drawers hoping to find something newsworthy. Your job was on the line. Bile rose in your throat at the severity of what you were doing. This could put you in jail. You book it for the closet as you hear keys jingle. God, I'm gonna be in so much trouble.

You just wanted more information about what happened. But this was an extreme. You were stalking a group that didn't know you existed. Your breathing became ragged as you saw the shadow of a footprint in front of the closet door.

This was it. I was gonna be arrested.

Once the door opened, you expected to see Taehyung or Jimin. But to your surprise, a little girl looked up at you. A bright smile across her face. You put a finger to your lips, signaling for her to keep quiet.

"Uncle Tae! There's someone in your closet!"

Taehyung's brows furrowed as he listened to the manger chew you out. Your reaction was stoic. Not even a flinch. Taehyung sighed and put a hand on his manager's shoulder, encouraging him to calm down.

"What's your name?"

"Taehyung! Now is not a time for pleasantries! We can't afford another scandal." A pit formed at the bottom of Taehyung's stomach. He knew that his statement was true, but he too had skeletons in his closet.

"My name is Y/n."

"And how did you get in Y/n?" You glared at Taehyung. Your eyes traveled all over his body. A visual he got used to. But you couldn't tell if he was being nice to fuck with your head or if he was genuine.

"That's not important Mr. Kim." Taehyung winced at the nickname. Realization finally kicked in. Only one person would call him that.
