Axel's POV

Seth was staring at me. I glanced around the office, trying to ignore his eyes on me. His office looked the same as last time. The overhead lights were off and the warm lighted lamps were brightly lighting up the room.

It smelled like peppermint and that was nice but it didn't distract me from the therapist staring at me.

"What," I asked as I glared at Seth. He was startled at the sudden question but recovered quickly.

"What do you mean 'what'," he asked as he played with a pen on his desk.

"Why are you just staring at me like that? It's annoying."

"I was waiting for you to decide if you wanted to talk or not," he said with a small shrug. "That was the deal remember? This is your time. If you don't want to talk then we don't have to."

"That doesn't mean you have to stare at me," I said with a scoff.

"What would you prefer that I do?"

"I don't know," I scoffed again. "Do other work or get on your phone or something. I don't like that you're just staring at me. It's freaking me out!" He only nodded as he picked up the pen he had been playing with and flipped to a clean sheet of paper in a beat-up notebook. To my surprise he didn't start writing; instead, he began to doodle around the page.

"Do you want a page," Seth asked after a minute of me now staring at him. I sighed.

"Yes." He said nothing as he ripped a page out of the book and handed it to me along with a pen.

The two of us said nothing for a while, nothing but the sound of pens scratching paper filled the room and the smell of ink mixed with peppermint. It was nice and for once I didn't mind being here.

"Did Callum tell you," I asked after a while. Our session was already almost over so at least I would be able to leave soon if things got too bad.

"About what?"

"About school the other day?" And the conversation we had after.

"He didn't. I try not to talk to talk to guardians unless it's absolutely necessary like someone is currently being hurt. I don't like that could hurt the trust I have with my clients. Do you want to talk about it?" I shrugged and he nodded, still not looking up from his paper.

"It was stupid. Weylyn and I switched classes because I didn't want to go to mine. We've done it before and we can usually keep it up for a few months before new teachers catch on."

"What happened this time? Something out of the ordinary must have happened to make this time different." I frowned at the thought of that teacher.

"That woman was being a bitch," I said, his eyes went wide but he didn't correct the language. "She got up at the beginning of class and introduced me as Weylyn. She told me to tell the class a bit about myself and since I was pretending to be Weylyn I told her I liked reading and she looked like she didn't believe me. She looked over at what I could only assume were our grades that our old school sent over and wrinkled her nose. Then she was all like 'Usually kids that like reading have really good grades, at least in English, but you're grades don't reflect that'. Just in front of everyone! No care in the fucking world!" Seth's frown depended but he still didn't look up from his page.

"Well, that's incredibly rude," he said with a scoff of his own.

"I know! And so uncalled for! Like there was no reason to say that at all let alone in front of the entire class. So I may have told her as such and she may have not liked that."

"Did you use those exact words?"

"I may have been a bit more passionate at the moment. The words 'fucking whore' may have left my mouth more than once and she might not have liked that."

"Then what happened?"
