pov; Yunjin

The practice is really boring. They seperated us into groups- ballet, and opera. I can hear the music in the other room. I'm the only one in the opera group, obviously. There's only a teacher and someone who's just sitting and staring at me.

In the other group, there's a lot of dancers. One main dancer and backup dancers, who will just sit and sometimes dance, but mostly they do as a background.

"Okay, break. Drink some water and come back." The teacher said and I jumped down the stage to go get my water.

"You're really good." A guy said, the one that was just sitting here the whole time.

I quickly swallowed the water, so he doesn't think that I'm ignoring him. "Thank you. I'm Yunjin, by the way. Or Jennifer, but people call me either Jen or Yunjin." I smiled. I put the water away and extended my hand to him.

"I'm Beomgyu." He smiled as well and stood up to shake my hand. "Don't mind me sitting here. I'm not here to judge you or something. I dance in this studio and I'm waiting for a friend." He chuckled.

I smiled at him again. He seems like a nice guy. "Is she a dancer?" I asked him and he nodded. "They're right behind the curtains." I pointed to them.

"I know. But I still want to stay here and watch you. I already know how she dances." He said. "Sorry if it sounds weird, but can I get your instagram, or phone number? Don't worry, I have a girlfriend." He laughed a little, scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh, yeah, sure. I'll just give you both." I took his phone when he handed it to me. I wrote my information down.

Soon enough, the teacher came back with her coffee. I waved him goodbye and went up the stairs to the stage. We practiced a little and it was already getting past 12, and we've been here since 7am. Beomgyu disappeared somewhere, he was not there when I finished changing. I quietly went behind the curtains and sat on a chair in the front row. There was only one person, who was turned with their back to me. The music started playing and I focused on.. Kazuha? She didn't even notice me, since I was sitting in the corner, as far away as I could. I observed her movements, as she danced to the song. Surprisingly, it wasn't ballet. It was simple hiphop. As she finished, I started clapping.

"That was pretty impressive, seriously." She noticed me and smiled awkwardly.

"Hi." Kazuha said. She jumped down the stage and I stood up, walking towards where her water bottle is. I won't talk to her when there's so much distance between us.

"Hello." I answered. She came for her water bottle and drank some water from it, her cheeks filling up with it. I smiled at the sight. "What are you still doing here?" I asked her.

"Just practicing, you?"

"It's the same for me, they kept me here until late." She motioned for me to follow her. We both sat on the edge of the stage, beside eachother. She still drank from her water bottle and I just stared at her, looking the other way occasionaly.

She nodded in understatement. "Where do you come from, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Ah, no, it's okay. I was born in here, then I attended to school in Seoul, highschool as well. I moved here 4 years ago with Hanni. What about you?" I asked her.

"I'm from Japan. Osaka, to be exact. I just moved here, like a week ago. I still get lost all of the time." She said, chuckling a little.

I smiled, holding my laugh in "Yeah, it's a big city. I get lost here, too."

"No you don't." She said.

"I don't" I answered, chuckling along with her. "I just tried to make you feel better."
