Bakugo sat quietly in the court's waiting room, his mother sitting silently beside him. A seat between them as she didn't dare glance at him, his father sitting beside his wife. For the first time in the blondes life, he saw his old man with such a disappointed look.
He was forced to stay in the police station's small cell for two nights before being sent home under house arrest. Now on the day of his court trial, he was sweating. If it weren't for his father giving him one last chance to change, he would be sitting in juvenile detention facing a sentence of two years.
His father hadn't looked him in the eye since he came home, his mother on the other hand screamed at him til the sun set. Being locked up in a house for two weeks was harsh but spending most of the time alone was worse, his phone had been confiscated. His parents had installed cameras and a security system.
A bead of sweat rolled down his spine as the receptionist called his name. Getting up first with a sigh he shoved his hands into his pockets, his father walked behind him with Mitski resting a hand on her shoulder as they walked through the dark double doors.
Entering the courtroom, Bakugo clenched his teeth and tensed his shoulders as he podium in front of the judge. The dark-skinned man gave him one look before opening his case files.
"Katsuki Bakugo, you are guilty of car theft, speeding, underage driving, hazardous driving, failing to yield, driving without a license and endangering civilians' lives. Your sentence was to be 30 months in jail but there has been an arrangement of six months doing volunteer work at White Orchid Ophange and four months of the after-school extra curriculum of playing on the school's football team. You will be under house arrest for all of that period, the only places allowed away from home are School and the Orphanage. You will be given a wrist monitor that will be fastened to your wrist and if ever cut or attempt to remove the band another three months will be added to your sentence. Your schedules will be sent out through the mail in the coming weeks. You have a period of two weeks before your schedule shall start." The judge spoke deeply, his voice echoing around the room. Lifting the granted stamp he smashed it into the file, declaring it as approved in red blotchy ink.
"In addition to your hearing, you will be fined ¥200 000 to cover the damage done on the Ute." The judge ruled, picking up the brown gavel and slamming it onto the sound block. "Case closed."
Bakugo winced slightly as the file was slammed shut. The judge placed it on the approved pile and ordered the next case to enter.
The Bakugos leave in silence as they pass a man and his daughter a few years younger than the blonde. They leave the children's courthouse and make their way to their car.
