Chapter one

( Maddison pov )

I woke up, I opened my eyes and I looked to my right, on the nightstand I had next to my bed, the clock read 7:50 am.
I widened my eyes and quickly I jumped out of bed, starting to get ready for school since the bus is passing to my house at 8:45.
I opened the blinds of my window and let the sunlight pass through my room.
I walked to the bathroom and I started doing my usual skincare, I took off the clear teeth aligners e and I brushed my teeth.
I started running to my room and I opened my wardrobe, I choose a pair of black baggy cargo jeans and a grey sweatshirt, I quickly put on my comfy uggs and I did my school bag.
In the bag I put my biology book, my maths exercise book, my italian book and exercise book and last some money.
I looked at the clock and I was only 8:20 so I took my hair straightener and started doing my hair.
After I finished I unplugged it and I ran downstairs.
I asked my mum if she could do a coffee for me because I was late and sadly she said no, so I walked around the kitchen trying to quickly get to the coffee machine.
I was scrolling trough instagram waiting for it do be done, I waited a couple minutes but I got distracted from a mosquito and I didn't notice that the coffee spilled out, I stopped the coffee machine and I ran to get some paper towel to clean out the mess, to my fortune I spilled coffee on my sweatshirt too.
It wasn't a big stain so I stayed dressed like this, also because it was 8.38 so I wouldn't had time to change.
I got my iron water bottle with coffee inside and I went towards the exit door.
Just in time! The bus stopped right in front of me.
I got in the bus and I greeted all the people I knew.
I sat on the first free seat and I put my AirPods on starting to listen "the machine" - Reed Wonder, Aurora Olivas.
Gosh I loved that song, I always listen to that, is like a fucking drug.
Finally after a long time, the bus arrived in front of my school.
Shit it was 8.58 I was late to my class AGAIN.
I started running trying not to get detention for being late.
I was practically arrived but then I bumped into someone, it was a boy probably in the 12th grade. I tried recognising him but the face was just so unfamiliar, probably he's new.
But fuck he is so beautiful, he was dark chocolate eyes, straight brows, kind of fluffy hair, he had an  silver earring to the left ear, he was dressed with a black compression shirt and some grey sweat pants, fuck fuck fuck fuck, Maddison don't stare at him I said to myself in my thoughts.
We looked in each other's eyes for some seconds then I started talking: " I'm so sorry" I said quickly, and then I left without letting him speak because I was late.
I entered in the classe and I just sat down in my desk.
I tried focusing on my lesson but I couldn't take of my mind that boy...
Couple of minutes later someone knocked at the door, the teacher opened it and guess who it was?
Exactly it was the boy that I bumped in the hallways.
The teacher scolded him for being late but he explained he was new so he didn't know where the classes were.
He also said that it was his first time in the USA because he lived in Europe.
Mrs Harper ( the teacher ) excused herself and se asked him if he wanted to present himself and he agreed.
Apparently his name is Noah Attwood, good to know now I can stalk him.

(Noah pov)

I walked all over the school and I couldn't find that fucking shit of biology class, I wanted to ask that beautiful girl I bumped into the hallway, but se runned away before I could even open my mouth and I just looked at her leave.
I searched for that class for 5 minutes more and I finally found it, I knocked to the door and the teacher scolded me for being late, I explained her that I'm new and I couldn't find the class and also that I'm from Europe so thing were different from here.
She believed me, apologised and asked me if I wanted to present myself to the class, I agreed and I started:" hello everyone, I'm Noah Attwood, I'm from Germany and Albania, and I just hope you guys like me".
I watched everyone and only one girl catched my attention, the girl from the hallway, I looked at her and she looked at me back, we made eye contact until the teacher told me to sit next to someone.
I could decide were because there were a lot of places so she decide for me.
She made me sit next to that girl and apparently her name is Maddison.
I sat next to her and I started talking:"we meet again haha" I said kinda nervous, she looked at me and smiled.
Wow she's so pretty: she has brown eyes, long brown silky hair, full lips, an upturned nose, straight teeth, clear skin and straight pointy brows.
She was just perfect.

( Maddison pov )

OMG Noah just sat next to me, try not to stare at him Maddison I just said to myself.
He started speaking " we meet again haha" fuck he has a beautiful voice.
I just smiled to him cause I don't want to say anything stupid.

Skip time
(Lunch)

Finally it was lunch time, I can't resist anymore I'm so fucking hungry.
I walked to the cafeteria and I saw Sarah and Leah talking so I went to them.
I guess they were happy to see me cause they hugged me like I was leaving forever.
" Yo chill y'all are killing me" I said with practically with no oxygen.
Sarah and Leah looked at each other and they just burst out laughing.
"Are we gonna buy something to eat or we are just gonna starve?" I asked with an ironic tone
"Nah, I prefer eat than die" Leah answered
"okay so let's go" Sarah screamed
We started walking to the slot machine but then the principal stopped me and told me if I could come with her.
I was pretty confused cause I don't do anything wrong in school.
We walked to her office and there was Noah too.
"So Maddison i called you
here because you are the only one wich I can trust, I just wanna ask if you can take Noah on a tour of the school since the school is too big and obviously I don't think he can do it all alone, is it okay for you?" The principal asked me
"Yeah no problem, but are we doing it now or in the afternoon?" I asked for being sure
"It's okay if you do it now cause in the afternoon the teachers will have a conversation between them, about the classes" the principal said
I nodded and I started walking Noah to the school.
"So Noah, do you really wanna do a tour of the school?" I asked curious
"You really think so? That's so boring" he replied annoyed
"We both don't want to so do you wanna come to a place that no one knows ?" I said excited
"OF COURSE I WANT, LETS GO" he replied
I took his hand and we started running to the school basement, obviously the door was locked but I had a copy of the key so I could enter every time I wanted to, I pushed Noah in it and I made sure no one saw us, quickly I runned downstairs and the basement was big, with some libraries, I walked to the library in the corner of the room I pulled the only red book and something moved, there was a secret passage on the wall.
I told Noah that he doesn't need to be scared cause it's something so beautiful.
We walked for about 2 minutes and we arrived it was an arcade room with games, slot machines and a lot more.
"Yoah" Noah mumbled
We stayed there playing, eating and winning prizes but then i looked at the time, it was 14:50 school finishes in 5 minutes so I told Noah that we gotta go.
We did a little speed run and in 3 minutes we were out.
"How did you discover that place" Noah asked me
"Uhh it's a long story" I replied
"Wait I need to ask my sister if she can pick me up cause the bus is not gonna stop today" I randomly said
"If you want I can take you home" Noah gently offered
"No no don't disturb yourself" I told him
"It's not a big deal, let me take you home cause you made me have a beautiful day" Noah replied with a serious voice.
Aww that's so cute for him to say it, now I think I fell in love with the right person.
" if you want to.."
The bell rang and me and Noah started running to the class where we left our backpacks.
We got them and then we walked to his car.
When we arrived my jaw dropped he had a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray ( even if the story is set in 2009 just imagine they already had that car).
"So what street do you live in ?"
"I live in ****** street number 89"
"Wait do you really live there? I live there too but number 87"
"Wow we are neighbors"

Skip time
(At home)

Noah dropped me home, I didn't even eat lunch, I was so exhausted that I didn't even change the clothes I had to school.
But then I just thinked that my bed is clean and my clothes are dirty so I just changed them I even if I didn't want to.
I put on a comfy clean pyjama and I fell immediately asleep.
