(3rd person pov)

*Sanemi had been staring at his front door in agony for over an hour, he was just standing there, waiting for Tomioka to come back, which was more than likely not going to happen until he apologised. Sanemi seemed utterly broken and was unable to recall anything that had happened in the last few hours, he stood there blankly when he saw a hand wave in front of his face, he snapped out of it and faced the other Hashira, it was none other than Obanai Iguro, the serpent pillar.*

"Master wishes to speak to you."

*Obanai spoke before he himself set off, his striped haori carried itself in the wind as he strolled away into the distance leaving Sanemi alone to prepare himself for whatever mission he was going to be sent on. After around 25 minutes Sanemi set off for the Master Kayagas mansion arriving just short of the mansion however Sanemi stubbled across Giyu who was sitting near a river skipping stones, he had to be wrong for thinking this now of all times but god damn was he pretty.*

*Sanemi stared at the blue haired man for a few more moments lingering in his thoughts before shaking his head and entering the Master's mansion immediately bowing before him.*

"Good morning my child." (K)

"It's great to see you in good health master." (S)

*Sanemi smiled sincerely as he raised his head to face Kayaga his almost spiky white hair shaking very slightly as he did so.*

"May I ask why I've been summoned before you Master?" (S)

"Ah well, it's come to my attention my child that Tomioka has seemed to be fairly upset the past couple hours, I was wondering if you knew why due to the fact that you were the last seen with the water pillar."

*Sanemi dipped his head gritting his teeth together before letting out an audible sigh his gaze softening before adverting back to Kayaga.*

"I am not sure Master, forgive me." (S)

"Ah, I see. You will tell me if there's something wrong yes?" (K)

"Of course Master." (S)

*Sanemi felt horrible for lying straight to the Masters face but he wasn't the type of guy to own up to his mistakes, it was just that Giyu was being really annoying.. Right?*

"Well then, you are dismissed my child."

"Thank you Master."

*Kayaga nodded with a warm smile having a hunch that the wind pillar was hiding something yet he had no reason to pry.*

*Sanemi bowed his head once more in respect before exiting the Masters mansion letting out a large sigh of relief as he felt the wind brush through his already messy hair. He felt bad about lying to the Master of course but it was for the greater good.*

(Giyu Pov)

*I sat by the river allowing my fingers to dip in and run with the water, it felt good, refreshing even to be out in nature relaxing to the beautiful singing of the birds and the sound of crashing ripples through the small river in front of me. For those couple of moments life felt surreal, if not perfect, but of course he had to ruin it.*

"Tomioka, can we talk?.." (S)

*If I'm being honest I wanted nothing to do with shinazugawa during those perfect moments but I wanted to hear him out, maybe he'd apologize to me, or at least try to make up for what he'd done to my only thing that attached me to my late best friend and big sister.*

"Hm?." (G)

(3rd person Pov)

*Sanemi's eyes widened, he hadn't expected Tomioka to be so open to the idea of talking things out, but he knew he had his doubts, he had to make this count, it might be his last chance to have Tomioka still in his life, by his side.*

"About earlier.. I let my nerves get the best of me and I'm sincerely sorry about that.. And your haori. I promise to try find a way, any way to get it fixed. I understand if you don't forgive me though." (S)

"It's alright Shinazugawa. I forgive you." (G)

"Wait really?!" (S)

"Yes." (G)

*Sanemi closed the distance between the two in a moments notice wrapping his arms around Giyu's back in a tight and warm embrace a small yet genuine smile crossing the smaller white haired man's face.*

*Giyu was a little taken aback by the sudden hug yet he didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around the other man allowing his head to rest in the crook of Sanemi's neck.*

"Thanks." (S)

"You're welcome." (G)

*Giyu pulled away from the comfortable embrace first a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he stared into Sanemi's enticing purple eyes causing his heart to skip a beat.*

"So we're like cool now? We can go back to dating casually?."

"Yeah, I'd like that once you try to cool your temper a little."

"I can try."

*Sanemi let out a soft laugh his cheeks flushing a light shade of rosey pink, Giyu soon joined him chuckling quietly with a bright smile spread across his features.*

"Wanna go back to my estate?" (S)

"Sure." (G)

Finally a new chapter says me, the next chapter will most likely be some fluff and relationship building.
