A Hero's Return

Let's start for today...

The night wrapped over the village, casting a purple glow over the houses and streets.....Shu Kurenai, now a celebrated and legend of the war heroes, walked through the familiar pathways, his heart filled with anticipation and excitement..... After years on the battlefield, he was finally returning home to his beloved Y/N, his soon to be wife.....

Y/N, who had just turned 19, had been waiting anxiously for her soon-to-be 22-year-old husband......She was a picture of you can say epitome of innocence and shyness, her heart fluttering with excitement, fear and nerves....Today was a special day, not just because Shu ,her lover ,was coming home, but because she had a surprise for him—a surprise that would change their lives forever....

As Shu approached the house with electrifying steps, his heart pounded in his chest..... He had dreamt of this moment every now and then, of holding Y/N in his arms again.... As he stood in front of their house, he looked and said "Finally I'm back y/n!"

The door opened before he could knock, and there she was, standing in the doorway, even more beautiful with her eyes wide with joy and tears....

"Shu!" she exclaimed, falling into his arms.... Without wasting a second, he lifted her off the ground, holding her close as if he would never let go....

"I'm home, Y/N," he whispered into her hair, breathing in her familiar scent, that reminded him of the beautiful aromatic spring season..... "I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too," she said, pulling back to look at him, her eyes shimmering and glowing with unshed tears. "There's something I need to tell you." The atmosphere changed as tears flowed from her eyes....

Shu with concern and curiosity asked. "What is it? Are you alright?"

Y/N nodded, a shy smile playing on her lips. "I'm more than alright. I have a surprise for you."

More of Curiosity piqued as Shu followed her inside.... Y/N led him to a small bedroom, that was newly made and Shu didn't see before...There stood a wooden cradle by the window..... Shu's eyes widened as he saw the tiny baby boy sleeping peacefully.....

"This is your son, Shu,our son! " Y/N said softly, her voice trembling with emotion.... "His name is Hikari."

Shu's heart swelled with uncontrollable joy and pride.... He reached down, gently picking up the baby boy, kissing on the tiny fingers and peaceful face... "Hikari" he whispered, tears filling his eyes.... "He's perfect...His eyes are just so like mine and his nose it's just like yours... he's definitely the significance of our love"

Y/N wrapped her arms around Shu, leaning her head against his shoulder. "I wanted to wait until you were home to tell you. I wanted us to share this moment together...."

Shu kissed her forehead and then leaned on it, holding his family close... "Thank you, Y/N. Thank you for giving me a reason to fight, to come home. I promise I'll never leave you again...."

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the room, Shu knew that this was his true victory, the greatest victory over all other war victory... victory of his family.... The war had taken much from him, but it had also given him the strength to come back to the ones he loved. And now, with Y/N and little Hikari by his side, he knew that their future was bright and full of promise.
