ALEX
Ricardo and I were best friends. Sure, he was a little weird, but he was sweet. He had jet black hair and very nice chocolate brown eyes. He was kind, too. He walked up to me.
"Hey Alex." He said.
"Ricardo, what's up?" I asked.
"Nothing really. Just wanted to hang out with my mejor amiga." He said sweetly.
"That's so sweet, Rick." I said.
"Hey Lex?" He said.
"Hmm?" I said.
"So, school tomorrow?" He asked.
"I'm not going to school tomorrow." I said simply.
"Why not?" He asked, clearly curious.
"Because Mrs Nancy!" I said angrily. "She's such a bitch!"
"Uh, Alejandra?" He said.
"Yeah?" I said. "Did you just say my first full name in Spanish?"
"Yeah, I guess." He shrugged. He looked disappointed.
"Don't worry, Rick. I'll come to school tomorrow. But maybe at 10 or 11." I said.
"Who'll I hang out with then?" He asked.
"Ryan and the girls. I'll be right there by 9." I said. He smiled a little.
"Cheer up, Ricardo. You'll be fine." I said. He stroked my hair gently. I laid my head on his lap and closed my eyes. He kept stroking my hair and I slowly opened my deep dark blue eyes. He smiled sweetly at me. I smiled back.
"Let's stay home tomorrow, Lexi." He said. I nodded
