It's been 18 years now since Lewis lived in her childhood town. She loved it here, being with her friends and family. But school wasn't a heavenly place to be for her. She was being bullied for being the 'weird kid', people hated her because she had better grades than everyone else in her class in literature subjects.

Lewis was a very pretty and smart girl, she was around 5'4, and had brown wavy hair, she was passionate about music and loved to play the bass. But, apart from her family, she didn't really have close ones passionate about music like she was. So she had no one to show her talent.

She started posting videos of her playing the bass about two years ago, when she was 16 years old because that's when she started playing it. Instagram users loved it, but students from her school used it against her to make fun of her and her content. Since she was a beginner, they used to make fun of how she was 'so bad at it' and asked her to play it in front of everyone quite often.

Lewis and her friends never understood why she was being bullied for playing an instrument, but haters would never stop her from being herself because she would never ever hide her unique personality and opinions.

After these 18 tough years, Lewis moved to a new town during the summer break after her parents decided to, because they wanted a smaller house due to her siblings moving away to study.
But she wasn't sad about quitting her friends because she knew she'd still be able to see them despite the long distance between them. She was pretty optimistic about it.

Lewis liked going out with her friends, going out in general. She didn't like staying home for too long, because she hated wasting her time being on her phone while she could have fun with other people. She was very sociable and liked to meet new people even though it made her nervous most of the time.

Now, it's around 4 pm and Lewis and her family just arrived at their new house which was pretty big for a 'smaller house', surprising.

- Welcome home ! Said Lewis' dad

- This house is definitely NOT smaller than the old one. Replied Lewis

- Well.. it is!" Added her mom

They all finished unpacking their stuff and Lewis decided to go outside and visit her neighborhood.
She then saw a family, two parents with two boys, one that looked like he was Lewis' age and the other that was probably 7 years old.

Lewis just stared at them, being a bit jealous because she wanted a little brother so bad, she hated being the youngest. But after focusing on the little boy, she looked up and made an accidental eye contact with the older one.
Lewis told herself "that was embarrassing.. But he didn't seem to be bothered". The guy's parents waved at Lewis, who waved back and went inside her house. It was now time for dinner.

"Hi Lili ! We're going to a fastfood tonight, we didn't have the time to buy the groceries yet so we have nothing home to eat." Said her mom.

They all jumped into the car and got to McDonalds, Lewis didn't like McDonalds but she didn't really have any choice, her parents really wanted to try this town's fast food starting with this one.

Once they arrived, Lewis noticed there weren't a lot of people in here, which was reassuring because she was not in the mood to talk to anybody tonight, surprisingly. Why ? Because of the 'embarrassing eye contact' she made with this guy earlier, she didn't want anything like this to happen again.

But little did she know that this guy was also going to McDonald's tonight. His family always goes to eat fast food once a month, and it was today, unfortunately.
