TW : Mention of self-harming in this chapter.

After an hour or two, Lewis heard someone knocking on the front door of her house.

It was her brother already.

She was mad at her mom for letting him come in, she hated him more than anyone else because of how bad he made her suffer her whole childhood before leaving their home to study somewhere unknown.

Her brother, Oliver, was surely one of the most homophobic, misogynistic and everything that ends with 'ic' except sympathetic. Lewis loved to call him Olive because everyone in her family hated olives, it was just a very simple corny way to tell her brother she didn't like him.

Lewis' mom opened the door and Oliver came in with a bright smile knowing he was just here to annoy his sister, but she didn't find it funny.

"Hi Oliver. Says his mom in a neutral tone.

- Hey." He answers waving at his mom and sister.

Lewis said hi in a cold tone, and went to go upstairs but before she had time to put one foot on the first step, her mom called her to stay here and enjoy a conversation with them, which she didn't want to do.
She would never want to say no to her mom, and after all, he's a family member so she had to know the news.

"You got a boyfriend? Asked Oliver looking at his sister after a bunch of boring questions. Both were sitting on the couch while their mom was in the kitchen.

- Do you even care ? Answered Lewis, coldly again.

- I'm your bro I need to know.

- I don't have one. And even if I did I wouldn't want you to know.

- Wow super surprising lol.

- Do you have a girlfriend ?

- I do. Her name's Isabella

- I bet she's suffering with you but she doesn't wanna tell you because she's kind, not like you.

- Why would you hate me so much?"

Lewis just skipped the question and pulled her phone out of her pocket to text Sam. She wanted someone safe to tell how she was uncomfortably interviewed right now.

Little did she know it wasn't the right moment to pull out her phone. Oliver would die to know everything about his sister's private life because he loved to mock her like her old bullies. He never believed in his sister's mental strength because she was a girl, and he had a serious problem with women.

Lewis didn't have a second to type any letter that Oliver had already grabbed her phone which made her jump from fear. Both of them stood up but Oliver was too tall for Lewis to take her phone back, she only could accept her faith and pray for her phone's battery to die or something that could save her from the bad 'humor' of her brother.

Nothing was notable in Lewis and Sam's texts, but Oliver knew Lewis had attachment issues. When he saw her friend's name, he guessed it was a boy and immediately thought Lewis had a crush on him. It was his perfect moment to mock her again for being a normal teenager.

"Who's 'Sam'? Asked Oliver with a mischievous smile on his face.

- He's our neighbor he's just a friend. Give me my phone. Answered Lewis with a lot of fear and anger on her face.

- Sounds like you're lying. I can tell you already have a crush on him Lewis. But look at you, he'll find someone better that's why you guys are just friends."

Lewis couldn't handle her anger, she punched her brother in the stomach to get her phone back and leave the house.

Their mom got out of the kitchen and jumped from surprise seeing her son almost out of breath for a second.
