Jungkook, when he saw Taehyung in the cafe, he almost fainted. He became so terrified by thinking that he'll get to know about Soo-Rah, so he hurriedly grabbed her small hand in his and dragged her out of the cafe and went towards the apartment.

He reached there and went inside and into his room with his daughter in his arms. He entered his room and sat on his bed while hugging Soo-Rah tightly. He is trembling badly while tears are pooling in his eyes.

"He'll not get to know about you. I'll never let him see your face ever. He'll take you away from me and leave me alone like he did in the past. I'll not let that happen." These are the words he is mumbling while large tear drops are leaking his eyes.

"Mama, what happened?" Soo-Rah asked when she saw him crying. He looked at her and softly cupped her face.

"You'll not leave me like your appa did? Right. You'll stay with me forever?" Jungkook softly asked while stopping himself from sobbing.

"I'll stay with you forever, Mama. Don't cry." Soo-Rah said and wiped the tears on his face with her small hands, making him sob at her sweet gesture.

"I'm not crying. Look." Jungkook said while wiping his tears. He then tightly embraced her to his chest. It seems like if he loosens his grip a bit on her, she'll vanish.

It's been days since jungkook saw Taehyung, and after that, his behaviour changed a lot. Jin noticed it, too. Whenever someone calls his name, he flinch badly, and he seemed to be lost in his thoughts a lot, and he gets overly protective for Soo-Rah. After the day he saw Taehyung, he didn't even let her foot step out of the apartment door.

"If she'll go out, then he'll see her and will take her away from me." These were the lines he uttered and didn't let her step out of the apartment for straight three days. But after a lot of assurance from Jin, he let her go for the daycare as Soo-Rah was also getting fussy after staying home for many days and not being able to meet her friend.

It's another day, and Jungkook is going towards the daycare to fetch Soo-Rah from there. He is a bit late as he was busy in the cafe. There were many customers today, and Taehyun was also not present, so he had to work extra because of which he lost the track of time. Now, he is heading towards the daycare.

After some time, he was in front of it, and he didn't need to go inside as Soo-Rah was already standing at the gate of daycare waiting for him.

"Mama, why did you come so late?" Soo-Rah complained in her cute whiny tone.

"Sorry baby, I had lots of work in the cafe." Jungkook apologised while smiling softly.

"Apology not accepted." Soo-Rah said with her small arms folded against her chest and looked side ways with a pout. Jungkook gasped dramatically at that and said,

"What this peasant has to do for his apology to get accepted, madam?" He said in a playful manner while bowing in front of her. Soo-Rah giggled at her mother's playful antics and said,

"You have to treat me with ice cream." Soo-Rah said while raising her chin. Jungkook sighed at that as he knew that his daughter would say this.
"What's with her obsession with ice cream." Jungkook thought in his mind.

"Okay." He replied defeatedly, and Soo-Rah excitedly jumped on her tippie toes while clapping her hands.

"Let's go then." She said with a wide smile and started walking ahead of him. Jungkook also followed her behind in a defeat as no one could change her mind in case of ice cream, but he'll not give in this easily from next time. It's last time only.

Jungkook was walking on a sidewalk with Soo-Rah on his side while holding her small hands in his big ones. He turned a corner and entered a less crowded street. He was going towards the ice cream parlour around the corner when a voice from behind him said his name.

"Jungkook."

Jungkook heard his name from someone behind him and froze on his step when he heard a familiar voice. This voice, it used to say his name so softly and with full of love that he fell in love with his own name. But now hearing it from the same person he is feeling like changing his name. He didn't get those butterflies in his tummy, which he used to get before. Now, what he feels is pure hatred towards the voice and the person that it belongs to.

He didn't turn around. He just continued walking ahead, making the person behind him call his name again, but he didn't stop this time.

"Jungkook, hey, kook listen." Taehyung said and suddenly came in front of him and stepped in front of him, stopping him from going further.

"Move aside." Jungkook said in full anger.

"I-i need to talk to you. Please listen to me for one. Jungkook, please." Taehyung begged him, but it didn't fazed jungkook a bit he just looked down with his fists clenched, not wanted to look at the person. He is afraid that if he looks at him, then he'll lose all the control on himself.

"Jungkook, please, this once I beg you." Taehyung said in a pleading tone. Jungkook was about to say something when a voice came from his side,

"Who's this, Mama?' Soo-Rah asked, and that's when Taehyung's sight fell on the little girl. Jungkook's face paled at that. The thing he so wanted not to happen happened just in front of his eyes. He saw her and now he'll come to know about her and will take her away from him. No no no no he can't let this happen.

His breathing became heavy, and his body started trembling, his pupils dilated, his knees got weak, and he was about to fall on his knees, but Taehyung saw it, and he came forward and he fell in his arm.

"Hey, Jungkook, can you hear me?" Taehyung said while slapping his face softly to make him come in his senses. But he was long gone in his attack and soon passed out in his arms.

"What happened to Mama?" Soo-Rah asked, closed to crying after seeing her mother in this condition. Taehyung looked at the kid in front of him and softly replied,

"Nothing happened to your Mama. Okay, I'm here."

Taehyung then hurriedly took out his phone from his pocket and called Jimin to tell him to bring his car so that he could take him to the hospital as he is nearby because they were hanging out in a bar and when they came out of it that's when he saw Jungkook and then followed him.
