Victoria's Point of View
"You may now kiss the bride."
I was watching them become one while last year he said I am his only one, I laugh at my stupidity in believing him."At least he's happy," I told his mom and smiled. She hugged me
"Visit me when you are free, Victoria." She requested. I wanted to say yes but I may ruin their relationship with her son, my ex-lover. I looked at her and smiled.
"Sorry, I can't po tita" I could see the sadness in her eyes "But I'll chat to you soon tita" I added, and she smiled at me
"I will miss you." She hugged me tight. I hugged her back. I will miss her too and him...
"I'll go na po tita, I have a flight to catch. " I said and let go of the hug. I take a look at the married couple in front of the altar. "Tell them my best wishes " I last added and returned my gaze to his mom
"Thank you for coming. Hindi mo ba mahihintay matapos and kasal para mag kita kayo ng anak ko?" She asked. I hold her hand and laugh on what she said
"Tita, It's okay, I have to respect his wife and your now daughter-in-law's feelings. Okay na po 'yung nakita ko sila na masaya kahit andito ako sa dulo ng simbahan. This is their moment tita, I can't take this moment, and tita, I am still not move on. " I hugged her last time and wave my good bye
I didn't look back at the church and continued to walk to my car.
"Hey babe, are you okay now?" He was waiting for me inside the car. I nodded in response and he opened the door for me
"Thank you" I thanked him and got inside the car"Why didn't you stop the wedding?" He asked, I looked at him confused
"Are you stupid or what?" I responded and he laughed "Do I look like that desperate to make him mine again?" I rolled my eyes. Well, I wanted him to come back to me but I was too late. I look out the window to ease my thoughts.
"You know I push myself to you so you can move on right?" He said, and I ignored him. I didn't want to hurt him but he insisted on pulling his self by becoming my rebound.
"You know you can stop, Kendric" I looked at him "Stop hurting yourself" I added"I love you, Victoria." He said seriously, and I couldn't feel the same.
"I still love him," I responded, It's been a year and now he is married but I still love him. I can't move on and force myself to move on when I was hoping for that one promise he told me last year. I am still holding on to that.
