Harry's POV
Five years had passed since Louis and I had expanded our family and life had taken us on a journey more incredible than we could have ever imagined. Our son, Jordan, had grown into a vibrant and joyful boy who adored his older sister, Darcy. The two of them were inseparable, their bond unbreakable. As for Louis and me, our love had only deepened, strengthened by the challenges and triumphs we had faced together. Our careers had flourished as well. Louis had released several successful solo albums, each one showcasing his unique voice and heartfelt lyrics. His music had touched countless lives, and his fanbase had only grown. I had also pursued my solo career with passion, experimenting with different sounds and styles. The journey had been rewarding, but we both knew there was something missing—a piece of our past that still held a special place in our hearts.
One summer evening, as we sat on the back porch watching Darcy and Jordan play in the yard, Louis turned to me, his eyes thoughtful. "Hazza, I've been thinking," he began, his voice hesitant.
"What's on your mind?" I asked, taking his hand in mine.
"Do you ever miss it? The band, I mean. The way we used to make music together, the camaraderie, the fans..." He trailed off, his gaze distant.
I nodded, understanding exactly what he meant. "I do, Lou. I miss it a lot. Those were some of the best years of our lives."
Louis squeezed my hand, a small smile playing on his lips. "I've been talking with the lads and they feel the same way. Niall, Liam, and Zayn... we all miss it. We've been toying with the idea of doing one more show together. A reunion, of sorts."
My heart skipped a beat at the thought. "A reunion? You mean, all five of us, back on stage together?"
"Yes," Louis said, his eyes lighting up. "We could perform our old One Direction songs and some of our solo tracks. It would be like a celebration of everything we've accomplished, both together and individually."
The idea filled me with excitement and nostalgia. "I love it, Boo. Let's do it. Let's bring One Direction back for one more show."
With our decision made, we set the wheels in motion. The first step was to reconnect with Niall, Liam, and Zayn and make sure everyone was on board. We arranged a video call, eager to see their reactions and share our plans.
The screen lit up with familiar faces, and a wave of emotion washed over me. Niall's cheerful grin, Liam's steady presence, and Zayn's quiet intensity—they were all there, just as I remembered.
"Hey, lads," I greeted, feeling a rush of warmth. "It's so good to see you all."
"It's been too long," Niall said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "What's this big idea you've got for us, Louis?"
Louis took a deep breath, his voice filled with emotion. "We miss it, don't we? The band, the music, the fans... We've all had amazing solo careers, but there's something special about One Direction. I was thinking, what if we did one more show together? Just one, to celebrate everything we've achieved."
Liam nodded, his expression thoughtful. "I've been thinking the same thing. There's a magic when we're all together that you can't find anywhere else."
Zayn, who had always been the most reserved of us, spoke up. "I've missed it too. The music we made together was something special. I'd love to be part of this reunion."
With everyone on board, the excitement in the room was palpable. We began to brainstorm ideas, discussing which songs to include, how to blend our solo work with our One Direction hits, and the perfect venue for the show.
"We should make it a massive event," Niall suggested. "Something that fans will remember for the rest of their lives."
"Agreed," I said, feeling a surge of anticipation. "How about Wembley Stadium? It's iconic and it would be the perfect place for our comeback."
