. . .

It is currently 11:34 PM. Me and Abel were chatting about some random stuff, we never chat about one specific thing. We continue chatting when the topic quickly changed to "Paranormal Activities". Him and I were always super fascinated about how the universe works. We make many theories and tell stories that we have personally experienced in our lives and, we sometimes connect them to get a cooler conclusion. A conclusion that blows our mind. A conclusion that no one would ever come to, it is simply our thing. We were getting deep into the conversation, when he threw a sudden text. "I'm going to my safe place now. I'll text you once I get there!" I frown. Come on, we were having a good talk! "Alright. You better run because you are blocking my coherence." I typed and sent it without giving it a second thought. I was watching the dots moving in our chat while waiting for his reply and my eyes unconsciously noticed the time. It was now 11:52. Shit! I forgot to take my iron tablets and vitamins! aghhhh. I try to get up from my bed but I'm so unbelievably tired. I was studying all day and the entire evening. I really need a break from this and I will get a break from this. After two vain tries I finally push myself out of the bed and I head to my door. My mom gave me an enormous mirror for my room, which I hate because it's huge, and it takes so much space. Well, at least I can take cute pictures and check my fits so, I'm not complaining. Anyways, I accidentally hit my leg on it and I start cussing it out. I mean let's be honest, who doesn't talk to furniture when we hit them? just me? I'm sure it isn't just me. 'You stupid mirror! For God's sake! Why am I keeping you?! You are bloody useless!' I storm out of my room. A few seconds later I get back to apologize. I realize that I may have overreacted and I also realize that I came to my senses rather quickly. 'I'm so sorry for talking to you like that—it's been a horrible week, you know? I just wish I could relax for a bit, have some fun. Everyone likes fun...' This is so stupid. What the hell am I doing? apologizing to a mirror and ready to rant to it about my mental health... I seriously need a break. I know I have already said it multiple times already but what can I do? I usually talk about something over and over again rather than actually doing it. I get out of the room and head to the kitchen. I take my pills and return to my room to find my water so I can swallow them. As I lay down, my eyes on the bedside table, where my water was placed, I feel a chilly breeze on my skin. It instantly gives me goosebumps. Without a second thought, I say with some volume on my voice, while planning to go to the living room: 'Mom! I told you not to open the windows when it is time for bed! I'm freezi—' Before I could finish speaking, I am cut off. I turn around. My eyes wide open. My jaw on the floor. Goosebumps all over my body. This is a sight to see—A sight to witness... A bright blue moving light. A bright. Blue. Moving. Light. Coming from my mirror. What?! I fall down while my eyes are pinned on it. It looks rather strange, milky? Jelly? I don't know how to explain it and I won't bother to. I get up and I slowly get closer to it. yeah, I feel scared, but also attracted to it...It is scary but mesmerizing at the same time. Now I know why people approach strange things when they see it in movies. The more I look at it, the more of my curiosity grows bigger. I need to find out what this is about. I mean it does look like a portal, but there's no such thing, right? 'Well, I guess there's only one way to find out. Mirror, mirror on the wall, show me where I'll fall...' I take a deep breath. I close my eyes and I take a step into the blue. My other leg follows. I'm still alive. I think I can now open my eyes. It was a strange feeling all over my body. It felt as if I was near a burning stove, my body felt hot but there was breeze all over my body at the same time. I need to open my eyes. As soon as I open my eyes, I find myself in an empty parking lot. I look around myself and it seems familiar. I've seen this place before. I walk for a bit, and I spot someone. There's a guy, in all-black, glasses and a cool jacket. I could recognize this figure anywhere. I take a few steps but my body starts running. Before I reach him, he turns around. I freeze. I'm shocked, but I am happy. My body feels an icy shock. I'm trying to catch my breath while laughing. I laugh in disbelief and in happiness. He looks at me and gives me a smile. His eyes light up while he speaks 'You...?' He asks with a smile of disbelief.
