"come on don't leave me!" I cry, glancing at my Mother who is having a heart attack. Looking back to the road, I press the gas pedal harder going well over the speed limit.

I saw the red light of a stop light, but I only went faster. I had to save my mom.

I wasn't expecting 3 cars to hit me. 2 on my left- also going over the speed limit- and 1 on my right.

The truck on my right-the side my mom was on- was an 1967 Chevy pickup, it had a girl in the driver's seat, she looked young about 17 maybe 18, with dark brown hair and pale skin. She looked shaken up from hitting someone and spinning out of control but other than that she looked fine.

The 2 cars on my left had their tint so dark I couldn't see them. The cars where spinning, and flipping from the hit. Mine ended up upside down, the Chevy was on the curb, the 2 other cars where on the other side of the intersection. Car parts everywhere.

I looked to my mom only to see a motionless body. I tried reaching over but a sharp stabbing pain came from my shoulder and my side. I looked down to see glass, looking forward I saw the windshield broken and glass everywhere. I looked back to my mom and ignored the pain. I had to check for a pulse.

There was nothing but coldness.

I started sobbing, not realizing that the people in the 2 cars got out -without a scratch- and rushed over to me and the girl in the truck.

"Edward, call an ambulance!" I heard a man say, his voice was so beautiful, like chimes almost, I saw in the corner of my vision my door open, looking left I saw a blonde man, with perfect features and the most beautiful honey-gold eyes. He was inhumanly handsome.

He checked me over with his eyes "don't worry I'm a doctor and an ambulance is on the way" I could hear him say but it was fuzzy almost. "Stay awake, what's your name?" I hadn't realized I was shutting my eyes until he said something.

"Y-Y/N S-S-Smith" my voice was so shaky I would barely speak. He nodded, "my names Carlisle, don't worry you're not going to die today" he must've seen the fear and sadness in my eyes. I tried to keep my eyes open but they felt like bricks.

"Stay awake" his chime like voice stated. I felt his cold-ice like- hand on my shoulder, waking me up a little. Everything started fading out, becoming quite and dark. The sirens where like whispers in the wind. The only thing I could hear was my heart pounding in my ears and Carlisle's voice tell the ambulance I was over here before darkness.
