A/N - Talking - English/French - Normal
           Talking  - Mandarin Chinese

A black haired boy and his uncle slowly descended from the plane as they went to retrieve their luggages. The young boy's uncle hasn't brought much of his stuff, however, his great nephew is the opposite since he doesn't know whether he will stay in France or go back to China with his uncle.

He took his uncle's things so he wouldn't have to carry them. His uncle, Wang Cheng, smiled gratefully at him and began walking around Paris to hang out a bit. They went around and stayed in a cafe for a bit to eat breakfast since they came quite a bit early.

"J𝗂ū J𝗂ū, what would you like to order?" Lucien asked as he wanted to order for the both of them. His uncle asked for a croissant and a coffee. Lucien nodded and ordered the same for himself as well. He's happy and glad that his uncle doesn't mind him drinking coffee since it was basically a need in his past life and this life too.

He couldn't go a day or an hour without coffee. "Lucien dear, are you excited to see your family again?"  Lucien paused in his track, not knowing how to feel about seeing his family again after years of being separated.

He doesn't know how his family will react either. Will they will be happy? Will they care about the son who left them in order to fulfil his dreams of traveling? He for a fact didn't have parents and was the oldest siblings who stepped up to be the parent. His siblings deserved someone to care for them and that was the least he could do, despite not having had someone care for him.

He hadn't spend much time with the family he has in this life because he wanted to do the thing he couldn't do in his old life. Lucien didn't want to burden his parents with the expense of paying for his tickets so he first started living with his uncle and started working before traveling to some places then settled with his uncle.

"I'm not sure, J𝗂ū J𝗂ū. Aren't I basically a stranger to them now?"  Wang Ching furrowed his eyebrows before reassuring his great-nephew that such a thing does not exist. "Of course not. You know better than anyone how much your parents cried when you left. They call you and me everyday just to check up on you and catch up with your life they missed on."

He clearly remembers how happy his niece was when he gave her the news that they're coming to France. She talked with him for an hour or more about doing a surprise party for him. Wang Ching knows the endless love his parents have for him and vice versa despite Lucien not being aware himself.

"They miss you greatly and will be very happy to see you."  Wang Ching smiled at the close to tears Lucien who couldn't help but smile back. "I miss them too." He missed his parents warmth and the good night kisses. Not that he would ever admit it. 'Chuckle'

This story would be quite different than my other ones because if you are familiar with ever after high, then the narrative/narration would be different as if it were an actual person narrating this as they watched the life of the characters they're reading. That's why if you're confused on why there is air quotation around the chuckle is because the narrative was laughing.
