Young Ruth gets up from her lying position... She frantically dusts her dress off- Before racing out of the cornfield- She races down a dusty old side road.. Her shoes swamped with mud from the rainstorm before... Thunder below from off in the distance and lightning lights up the area... A light sprinkle drizzles...
Ruth, soon enough comes up to a brick, church looking building... She covers her arms over her head to block the now pouring rain- and she slightly opens the old door to the house...
* "I thought I was in the clear when I got home... The house seemed deserted... Just how it always had been when I came home.." *
Past Ruth would take her muddy shoes off as she entered into the building... The building was a home within... It looked simple yet pleasant. The rooms were small yet were cozy... Ruth let out a sign of relief... Lights flashed on... Ruth was startled...
A woman of brown hair- Hazel eyes, and peach skin would have her lip curled at Ruth...
"Ruth, sweetheart... It's past Dusk- and I now your maturing, and becoming... A somewhat adult- But, I've told you before to make sure you come before the moon is out... Multiple times... Am I wrong?"
Ruth would hold her hands to her dress and look to the ground.. She bit her lip...
"No.. No ma'am..."
The women would then ever so slightly waltz towards Ruth... Her long fingers would gingerly pass up against Ruth's chin.
"You've got that look in your eyes, Ruth... The look of your father whenever he would try to hide something from me... Pathetic..."
The women would slap Ruth across the face. Ruth would kneel to the ground a bit from the impact... Subtle tears dripped down her face...
"You were at the Tavern... Weren't you? After I SPECIFICALLY demanded that you didn't... Shame on you, Ruth..."
Ruth would be silent... Grinding her teeth as she began to cry...
The woman then leaned down the Ruth's ear.
"That's what I thought..." The woman would whisper, "Room... Now... And if you ever think about going to that Tavern- Or anywhere else again... Just know- I'll be waiting..."
Ruth's pupils dialated... She got up in a hurry, and raced up a flight of nearby staircases. Headed towards a room far off to the other end of the hallway...
* "Once again- SHE had caught me... Lile she always did.. Miraculous how she always knew..." *
