CASSANDRA'S POV
"All done!" Thalia smiled as she finished arranging her bags.
Agad-agad na pala yung alis namin, akala ko pa naman magsta-stay pa kami ng ilang araw dito, pero hindi pala. Pagkatapos kasing ibigay ni Headmaster Henzo yung antidote ay aalis na rin pala kami nun.
Pumasok na kaagad ako sa puting van. Yeah, we have cars, too. Kung ano'ng meron sa mortal world, meron din kami. Except for the light-because it rarely shines beautifully here since the sun in our world is like it's getting late or about to rain.
Umupo ako sa likod at doon isinandal yung ulo sa bintana. So many responsibilities!
Nakasakasay na yung lahat at umupo sa mga bakanteng seat. Katabi ko ngayon si Thalia, si Arc yung magdri-drive ngayon since he insisted to do that.
"Paupo, ah?" Thalia smiled at me bago maupo sa tabi ko. Tumango lang ako bago ipinikit ang mga mata. I need to rest right now, hindi naman masyadong malayo yung papuntang portal.
Hindi naging boring yung byahe namin since palaging nagkwe-kwento si Seraphina and Xavier about something. Tahimik lang akong nakikinig sa kanila, at minsan ay napapatawa.
"Remember, do.not.kill.any.human." may diin na ani Draven. Kakapasok lang namin sa portal at lalabas kami ngayon sa isang kagubatan ng mga mortal.
Hindi ko nalang pinansin yung sinabi niya at tinignan nalang yung labas. The light, the darkness, and the birds chirping. They all appear ordinary.
The only sound I hear outside is the noise of the van that we used and their crunching on dried leaves. Life for mortals here must be beautiful-no conflicts, just tranquility.
If my life were like this, maybe I would be the happiest vampire in town.
"Sandra? Wake up now. We're here." napamulat ako ng aking mga mata nang marinig ko yung boses ni Thalia.
Nakatulog pala ako?
Umungol ako bilang sagot bago tumingin sa kabuhuan ng sasakyan. Nasa labas na yung iba, at kami nalang ni Thalia ang andito.
"Tara na?" napatango ako. Nauna na siyang lumabas at sumunod naman ako. ". . . kinuha na nung mga lalaki yung mga gamit natin." she uttered.
A towering mansion greeted me. It looked old.
I glanced at the main door and saw the two women, Elysia and Seraphina, deep in conversation. We started walking, and I took a brief look around the vastness of the place.
There was an old fountain in the middle, now overrun with greenery. It no longer functioned. It seemed like the house had been renovated a long time ago, as the color theme was only dark and white, while the large door was brown.
"C'mon, Elysia! You're a vampire! Of course, you shouldn't be afraid of the dark!" Seraphina exclaimed loudly to her.
"Seraphina naman, eh! Hindi nga- pero look at the mansion! Haunted siya, hindi kagaya nung sa 'tin!" napapadiyak-padiyak si Elysia bago tinuro yung loob.
Yeah, it looks like a haunted mansion. The inside is filled with white curtains now covering the antique items.
There is a large chandelier above, emitting a dark yellow light.
Tumungo kami kina Seraphina. "Ghost aren't true, Ely." Thalia uttered.
Nauna na akong pumasok sa loob para tingnan yung mga gamit nila. I gently touched the curtains. Puro na alikabok.
"Who owned this?" I asked without looking at them.
"This mansion belongs to Draven's great-grandparents. They gave this mansion for school purposes only. In other words, it was given as a shelter for vampires and werewolves if they visited the world of mortals," Seraphina replied.
