BADA's POV
Arriving at home, I noticed how Zaiyle was spacing out, making me worry if she was okay.
Arriving at our house, we both quickly took the kids out.
"Babe, are you okay, po?" Zaiyle and I both looked at Slate, confused.
"What did you call me, sweetie?" Zaiyle gently asked her.
"Babe," pag ulit niya, I couldn't help but laugh a little, even though I don't know why she called Zaiyle Babe.
"Naia, it's not babe, it's mommy," Dylan corrected her.
"But sweetie called mommy babe; it sounds so cute," Slate argued while referring to me as sweetie.
"Hon, those are endearments for couples," I said, making her pout.
"So mean, sweetie," she said, sulking. I took her with me as we walked towards the house.
"Am I not allowed to call you sweetie, momma?" She asked as she held my face, making me look at her directly.
"Sorry, baby, but those terms are usually used by adults who are already in a relationship, but some parents also use them with their kids, like mommy and I did." She nodded, meaning to say that she understands what I'm saying.
"There are other terms that you can call momma naman. How about we think about what you can use tomorrow?" I added, and her eyes lit up as she smiled.
"Okay momma"****
ZAIYLE's POV
Bada and I are in the room after we settled the kids in their rooms.
I'm still in shock at what Dylan had done earlier, and to be honest, I feel proud that he grew up as someone who's observant and considerate.
"Babe? Kanina kapa parang wala sa sarili, ayos ka lang ba? Is it about what happened in the studio?" Bada asked. I quickly shook my head before walking to her on the sofa.
I sat between her thighs, leaning my back on her as she hugged me.
"Dylan grew up just like you," I utter.
"Explain babe"
"I crossed paths with Kamel and Howl earlier when I was with the kids." She looked at my face, making sure that I was okay, so I smiled at her.
"I was stunned, of course, and couldn't speak, but Dylan did."
"What did he say?"
"He asked Kamel and Howl to stop approaching because they make me uncomfortable." I see how shocked Bada was after hearing what I just said.
"He protected me like you would if you were there Hon.""That means we're raising a man, babe," she said with a smile.
