BADA's POV
"Time for rest, kiddos. I heard Zaiyle say so, so I waited for them to walk inside the living room.
"Momma, sleepy, sleepy," Slate energetically said, making me smile.
"Yep, let's go," I said before carrying her while Zaiyle held Dylan's as we went way upstairs.
"Good night, kiddos," I said before kissing them good night while Zaiyle was caressing Slate's head as she slowly fell asleep.
"Good night, kiddo," I said to Dylan before giving him a fist bump.
"Good night, momma; good night, mommy," he said with a smile.
The loud silence has eaten me and Zaiyle as we walk out of the kid's room.
"Saan ka matutulog?" I asked because I knew she needed some time away from me.
"I'll stay in the guest room," her tone was cold if she could freeze a person far too gone from the warm Zaiyle who just tucked in our kids.
"I'll stay in the guest bed room, dun ka na sa kwarto natin," I said before wrapping my hands around her waist and hugging her from behind.
"I'm sorry, babe," I whispered before kissing her head.
I was about to let go when she held my hand.
"Just a little time, Bada. Galit ako pero hindi ibig sabihin non hindi ko na ipagkakatiwala sayo ang mga anak natin. Don't let this happen again." halos pabulong na sabi niya.
I don't know why, but tears gather in my eyes after hearing those words from her.
"Mahal kita," I whispered. I felt her nod before I let go of her and went on my way to the guest bedroom.
