Chapter 65: Shadows

A/N: Hey everyone. Late update again? 🙄 I know. I recently started work so updates might be late ( also if I stop procrastinating cause I'm losing motivation a bit, but I will continue!). Anyway, enjoy the chapter.

At the underground headquarters, all agents were preparing for the battle of their lives. Vehicles in the ground or flight, old and new weapons, new suits with built-in armor, and more. Bonten was in the private meeting room, waiting for the elite team to finish a video call with other agents around the world. " Everything is going according to plan on our end. We will be securing safety for the citizens of the U.S. I have other brother and sister agencies on board. They have the antidote that Minyan created, also with gas masks. They are ready to attack the mafia, and calm the innocent." The man on the screen named Jerry informed.

" Thank you Jerry for the update. We can focus on Sterling and Kisaki while you handle the rest, and ensure that no more missiles will be struck." Lila responded. " AND YOU HAVE TO SAVE AGENT HANAGAKI!" Agent Alex mentioned loudly in front of Jerry, who sighed in embarrassment. " He sacrificed himself so nobly. He's too handsome to die." Agent Clover added with tears down her eyes. " Girls, get out of the camera. Be professional." Agent Sam sighed while grabbing Clover and Alex away from the screen.

" My apologies agents." Jerry sighed again. "It's no problem, Jerry. We are all worried for him. But he knows what he's doing. We need to trust him." Adeen reassured. Jerry nodded. Then he logged off. The team then walks into the room where resides Bonten. " Just finished the meeting with WHOOP, they are providing assistance and ready to go," Daniel told the group. " What kind of agency name is WHOOP? I thought Providence was the only agency?" Hina questioned. " Providence is the only agency. Some facilities wanted to change their titles, to make Providence more secret." Lila answered while sitting on a chair.

" And those three girls of Takemichi's fan club? Are they even capable?" Daniel snickered. " According to Jerry, those three are the best at WHOOP. Don't underestimate them." Minyan said while hitting his arm with her elbow. " Other matters, what's Takemichy location?" Mikey asked while sitting on a couch. " We'll, you all will be going back home... cause he is in Tokyo." Ezra answered while being on his computer.

" He's in Tokyo?! Why in Tokyo of all places?" Draken asked." Beats us, we have to talk to Takemichi's favorite pair of mercenaries for the answer." Daniel said as he was heading towards the door. " I gonna come too, see how this plays out." Smiley said, with Angry right behind. The three headed out the door and towards the prisions cells.

The rest of them stayed behind in the meeting room. " While they are doing that, prepare yourselves tonight," Lila said, everyone dispersed among themselves.

Nodding the agents guarding the door, and typing in a code on a panel, the three headed in. Akkun and Takuya wore grey jumpsuits behind a glass door. " Well, hope you two had some great sleep, you f*ckers." Smiley said with his arm and body leaning on the glass. Takuya and Akkun stared at angrily. " Don't be mad at us, you wanted to kill Takemichi for a ridiculous and crazy reason. Usually you would want to apologize for your actions, not be consumed by guilt that you have murderous intentions." Angry said, standing next to Smiley.

The two continued to stay quiet and just menacingly stare at them. "Let's just get down to business," Daniel interjected the staring contest. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. " Why are Kisaki and Sterling residing in Tokyo of all places?" Daniel questioned. Takuya and Akkun stayed quiet. " Why not the white house of all places." Just silence. " This is gonna take a while." Daniel mumbled.
