CHAPTER IV

"So is this goodbye?"

  
     Henry asked his boss with his hands shoved in his pockets,"what...wha-,NO! not so soon,you just got here" the older whined in disbelief.

   "Ray,i have to go,maybe next time?" he promised and put his hand on Ray's shoulder.He sighed a relief "fine...i'll guess i'll see you...sometime" he told and they went in for a big,long bear hug which soon broke out fter the kids complaints.Of course he gave me one hug and gave me something which was this flat thing called a phone,my first ever phone,"here,you can call me whenever you miss me or for when you're in trouble" he explained and left the Man's Nest with AWOL.

Bonus : Ray started to ugly cry and ran away to his room.I didn't know they were that close with eachother.

   Mika then came over and asked "you know,maybe i could help you with a phone,could i?.I looked at the my new phone curious of what it could possibly do so i agreed and lent her my phone.After some hours passed i left for my new home with twins.

[ in her nightmare ]

3rd person POV

     At the door stood Valen who was excited for another day only when she went in and found everyone staring at her with blank eyes.

   "uhh...hey guys?" she started to feel scared,she knew she's in a dream but her eyes were kept open.No shaking,no moving her entire body,she wasn't able to do any of that.Everyone,excluding Ray and Schwoz,wouldn't stop staring at her and eventually she had to ask "wh-why are you looking at me like that?",stammered the girl.

   Bose stood up and gone towards her "why are you here?,you are not like us" he wondered,"what are you talking about?" she scoffed at him.

   "You're a VILLAIN...it's still in there,i can see it already,you ripping people's flesh to possibly making the whole world as your Dystopia" Miles told her which made her heart drop,"i know you'll think that this might not be true but just you wait and and see" Mika warned distorting her voice as she spoke.

    Valen was about to speak up until Chapa stood up from her place "Bose,move!" as she pushed him aside and said "you know what i love doing?" she questioned out of thin air "no...what?" she said back.Chapa then laughed and made everyone laugh too and later stopped,"it's beating up a bad guy,obviously...it's irresistable,it's satisfying,hearing em' scream and beg for a bit of mercy from Volt....and now i'll do the same to you,you are going to be so worth it..." (why can i hear her actually say this) She snickered and started to spark up which made Valen almost on the verge of tears "you know...even if you do this,i'll not feel pain,this is just a  dream...." a panicked Valen said.

   Chapa then laughed in a sinister way and then pushed her against the door with all her strength and ranted "I'LL STILL MAKE SURE YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE AND YOU'LL NEVER BE A HERO LIKE US!" and gripped her throat,"s-stop squeezing...my th-throat,your gon..gonna kill ME!".

  "GAHH!"

   Valen screamed and shot out of the mattress,"urgh,not this stupid crap again..." she whispered to herself and tried to go back to sleep but couldn't,the thought of her being a villain seemed impossible.

   

     Mika turned over to to find that she was awake "oh,hey,you can't sleep?" she asked "i just had a dream...a strange one".Mika stood up a bit and crossed her legs "what's it about?" she asked in curiousity,"i don't really remember my dreams,they just come and go" she lied,she couldn't just tell her friend that she had a dream about herself still being a villain"

    "Well we could talk for a bit" she suggested,"like what?" she asked.Mika thought for one moment and said "how about something about our team,for instance we can transform into our superheroselves faster by blowing a bubble!"
  
     "yeah,i saw Chapa and Miles do that,seems cool" the girl on the floor said with an impressed tone,"it is" Mika agreed,"Our scientist Schwoz made them,he's a genius!" She told and frowned a bit."You ok?" Valen asked after she noticed her face,"its nothing,just something i'm worried about.." she answered "what happend?","you know Chapa and Bose right?" Mika asked and Valen nodded,"well they both got in a huge fight on they're mission,they used to be such good friends...."

FLASHBACK TO THE MISSION

   "Alright,this is the place where we were told to meet the Carver" Volt said as she examined the old building with Brainstorm,"hold on,isn't this guy crazy dangerous,what if one of us get's hurt" he asked nervously,this is the first time he had gone on a dangerous mission involving a supreme villain.

   Chapa sighed and tapped her back "our suits are knife and bulletproof,don't worry" she reassured and felt a shot of something on her back,she pulled it out and found a knife,"he's here..." and they both turned to find a tall man with a scar on his eye,"well well,looks like we meet again,Volt....and Brainstorm" he told and pulled out his gun and multplied himself surrounding both of them.

   They were both scared and suprised,this guy was very hard to beat,even Captain Man couldn't beat him,"uhh,what now" Bose whispered to her,"we beat him up,no matter how much scars or bruises we get.." she said and zapped one of the fake ones,she twisted her body again and zapped,and still she couldn't find the real guy.Volt gasped for air and plead "WILL YOU JUST LET ME HURT YOU FOR ONCE!",Brainstorm then spoke to a tired Chapa "let me take care of this,i think i know what to do" and he took out his hand to the guy who was smiling,"how?.." her eyes widened,"i took lessons from Ra-Captain Man..." He replied nearly exposing his bosses identity,then lifted the guy with his telekinesis,sadly he formed into one "dang it! I was this close Volt,THIS CLOSE!" he gestured with his fingers into a small gap.

  They searched for where the guy had gone to,"where's he now?"

    "Boo!"

   "AH!",Volt and Braistorm screamed in surprise when Carver appeared infront of them,he pointed his gun switching from the both of they're foreheads,"who should i kill?...hmm,tough decision since i hate the both of you" and cocked the gun to Volt.

     Her eyes looked both ways and thought that she might find a way to not get shot,and she can't just zap him,that'll still make Carver shoot her.

     The gun was pressed tightly on her forehead,as he was about to shoot, Bose kicked the gun out of his hand and lifted him with his powers,"HAH! YOU WERE TOO FOCUSED ON KILLING MY FRIEND THAT I TOOK ADVAN-,yeah i should stop talking now " he pursed his lips in embarrasment whilst he held the guy over the roof,"yeah,you should stop" Chapa told him,"stop with the embarrasment or my power" he asked but he dropped him anyway since he lost focus,"WHAT NO!" Volt exclaimed and ran to the railing to find the bad guy dead,blood started to form on the road from his drop up the building.

   "oops...my bad.." Bosey said and watched Chapa glare at him,"you weren't supposed to drop him,DO YOU KNOW WHAT RAY SAID WHEN WE FIRST STARTED OUR MISSIONS!?",she interrogated.

   He tried to not look into the into the  eyes of Volt,"i don't know?" he replied and she laughed,"obvious answer from a guy like you.The rule is that "if you are facing off a bad guy,don't kill em',just enjoy and rub it in they're face's later",now you know the rule..."

   she explained and saw a sad Bose,"now i know...im sorry,but like whats the big deal?",Chapa scoffed "the BIG DEAL IS THAT WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO KILL ANYONE,EVEN IF WE WANTED TO SO DARN BAD!" she scolded him,"Ray is going to get so mad...." she added whilst feeling extremely mad and nervous.
