a/n -Guys I've been gone for over a month...I'm soooo sorry about that.

The day of the concert rolled around. I found myself backstage admiring the band's music livery. Martie and I have matching guitars and Oscar's bass matches Ellies drum set. Maybe she'll throw her drumsticks to the crowd this time. (even if she's been told not too)
Ellie's dad walked into the room of dazed and nervous musicians. He flew up from New York yesterday afternoon after the aquarium. He brought us bagels and tea. "For the voice" he would say. I always appreciated those kinds of gestures. Walker did that a lot too. He would bring me something from the gas station or match heart shaped rocks with me. I remembered it was still in my pocket as I sipped the hot tea (your favorite kind ofc)
I guess you're probably wondering why the band was here in the first place. I mean, in the peak of the afternoon. Basically we arrived at 8 am for rehearsals and only took a break five minutes ago. Whether it be tuning or actual rehearsal. We were on our toes. I got a few high fives from the security workers, they were chill. They've probably met more famous people than I have honestly.
The internet was zooming with fans talking about the concert. Me and Ellie always enjoyed watching the videos of people showing off their concert outfits. Some were really recent and a few were from people waiting outside on the street. That made me smile.
"Oh my god I need to know where those boots are from" Ellie giggled, showing me a random picture.
Since the concert wasn't until 9pm, we all just moseyed around backstage. I feel like most musicians don't do this. But it was the safest option. Can't be late for your own concert now can ya?

By 6 pm people were already getting to their seats. I could hear loud voices getting louder as the night progressed. By 7 pm the opening act was performing and getting everyone hyped up. Ellie was fiddling with her drumsticks. Spinning one around and tossing the other back and forth between her and Martie. Must be an extra I thought.
That's when Olivea walked through the door with Aryan and Walker. Behind them I noticed three other very familiar faces. Charlie, Dior and Leah???? My heart sank in excitement and Ellie gasped.
Leah ran up to me and hugged me tightly "I'm so happy to see you again! Last time was way too brief!" she giggled.
I smiled and hugged back. A squeal even escaped my lips. "I can't believe you're here!"
She pulled away gently and immediately grabbed Dior's hand. I think we were both fangirling harder than we want to admit. In unity we said "Oh my god, no way". She laughed and smiled "I'm like your biggest fan"
Her comment made me smile "I'm like your biggest fan. Like Hellooooo" and it was true. Out of the whole cast I'm pretty sure I favored her the most. I also don't remember meeting her at the awards show earlier in the year. Did I?
She chuckled "I'm so sad I couldn't join you guys for the road trip. Walker didn't shut up about it literally all day. Sounds like you guys had a blast"
Leah scoffed jokingly "definitely would have been more fun if I was there"
I gave Charlie a high five "Wife? Seriously?" I joked, referring to the first day Walker and I met and he had used the nickname.
"Hello to you too" he laughed
Martie got up from his seat and approached Dior with mischievous eyes "¿Qué trae a Afrodita a Vancouver?" (What brings aphrodite to vancouver?)
