Everyone got settled in the hotel. Martie's mom met us there and helped us unpack. Bobbie drove back to the US in the tour bus and life seemed to be putting itself together nicely. I mean, We'll be on Vogue and the Rolling Stone. Walker, Liv and Aryan were already supposed to be up there for filming and Martie has seemingly gotten over Jasmine. I was still a bit in shock from the whole tarantula experience though.

Since we weren't doing anything until tomorrow, we all decided to hang out together in Vancouver. As trashy as stanley park is, I sure loved seeing the water again. Liv tried to feed a seagull a french fry and Martie established an enemy relationship with the geese (They pecked him)

Oscar yawned walking along the railing above the bay. "Do you think Canadians like Saving Martie?"

I noticed Ellie twirl her hair. "I would hope so since they've almost sold out the whole stadium."

my lungs tightened simply at the thought. Usually once I started playing it wasn't so bad and I could ease into the anxiety of performing. But the idea of performing for so many people so soon made me a little nervous.

An arm wrapped around my shoulder "alone?" It was Walker.

"If I didn't look as soon as I did. You would have had a black eye and need a nose job." I laughed

He scoffed "I would be so honored if you punched my face. Then I'd be able to say I've been slapped by an A list"

I cocked my head to the side "A list? Be realistic here"

He stopped in his tracks where Oscar had stopped to examine something in the water. "Tell me to be realistic? You, Martie, Ellie and Oscar are all A list musicians. "

Oscar itched his nose "'A-list' can only refer to those in relation to the film industry or just general entertainment and other related media"

"So technically only Walker will be able to be considered an A-list?" I said

The bassist shrugged"With time, it's possible"

Walker gave an insulted expression but quickly faded into a smile as he turned to me "well either way, you're more famous than I am. And plus, aren't you a millionaire already?"

I grinned mischievously "You'll learn when I buy my first car"

On the day of the photoshoot, we learned just how difficult it is for us all to pose together. At least in the way that the rolling stone magazine wanted us to pose. The hallway had posters of old magazine covers. Ozzy Osbourne, Olivia Rodrigo, Gwen Stefani and a multitude of other bands and artists lined the hall.

They did a simple interview, all questions I'd heard before from past interviews. I feel like I went more in-depth about our quick rise to fame. The article read:

In a deep dive interview with the rising stars of Saving Martie, lead guitarist y/n-l/n describes just how difficult it was to adjust to their quick rise to fame over this past season.

"Yeah I remember finding out our records were selling out within just a couple weeks after releasing and being excited and all. But when people begin to recognise you at school more, and even just on the street so much more often than say...a week prior. It takes a toll on you. People approach you more, harass you more and are just so much more harsh when you're...uh...known. I remember hitting one million on my socials and almost screaming because I was so excited. Then two million, then three and 10 and so on. "
