It was the middle of the night. We see a certain red echidna sitting on an old paint can next to an alleyway. The wind started to pick and a newspaper flew right onto her leg. She picked it up and saw an article of the recent fight between Sonya, Y/n, and Dr. Eggma'am. She let out a sigh and let go of the newspaper, letting it be dragged by the wind. She then starts to remember her duty of guarding the Master Emerald. However, she started to remember one encountered in particular
~Flashback~
We see Knuckie standing guard of the Master Emerald, staring off into nothing with her arms crossed. Suddenly, she hears a loud boom and sees a green blur
Knuckie Thinking: What the heck was that?
???: Woah-ho-ho! Jackpot!
She turns around and sees a green hedgehog on top of the Master Emerald. He had on a black leather jacket, red sunglasses, and green/black shoes
???: Heh! This big ol' gem definitely outclasses all the others!
The red echidna gets pissed at seeing a stranger on her island. More so that he's standing on the Master Emerald
Knuckie: Hey! Get of the Master Emerald right now!
The green hedgehog ignores the red echidna and starts to absorb some of it's power

Knuckie: Now leave before I make y-
She didn't get to finish because the green hedgehog quickly got up and punched her in the face
