"I don't want to move there, I want to stay here with my friends." — "Liwoun, I know it's hard to let go of your friends but we don't have a choice but move to Korea. I have to do it so I can work." Liwoun faced away from her mom and stayed quiet, she picked on her nails as she kept thinking about her friends and the people on their town. To her, it was like leaving a family that you've known for years. But she can't do anything about it, she'll just have to adjust, but it'll not be that easy for her. Her mom let out a sigh and stood up from the couch. "I have to go pack my things, you better do the same so you won't have to hurry tomorrow." Her mom walked away and left her room, Liwoun was left alone.

"Can't you understand that I don't want to?.."

"Kim Lee-Woun!! Go ahead and catch a bus to shcool, I won't be able to take you there. Go now or you'll be late!!" Liwoun stood up lazily and grabbed her bag. "I'll go now." — "Don't forget to eat your lunch and make new friends, okay??, I Love You!! Bye!" Liwoun walked towards the door and opened it as she went outside, she started walking while looking at her uniform. "This sure is different from my uniform back in Japan, I wonder if I look good in this... I should've checked in the mirror before I left.. that doesn't matter, I still look the same." She let out a big sigh, she doesn't know what would happen to her once she steps inside the classroom. "My stomach feels weird, I feel like im going to vomit out of nervousness. What if they don't understand me?... What will I do? I won't even understand them if they talk to me."

Liwoun rubbed her stomach trying to make it feel better but she just can't stop being nervous. "I'm half korean and half japanese, but, why can't I speak korean? I can only think of the whole japanese alphabet..." Her brain ran in circles as she kept thinking of what to do, she really felt like she was going to vomit. Until she got an idea. "That's it!.. I won't talk to anyone." What a wonderful idea...

She kept talking to herself until she saw a bus waiting for her, she quickly ran and went inside the bus as she smiled at herself for making such a wonderful decision.

Liwoun arrived at the shcool a minute ago and she was just walking around the hallways finding her classroom. "I'm having a hard time reading korean, I'm so glad their classrooms are by numbers..." She held onto the hem of her blouse as she noticed the people passing by her were looking at her. "S-2.. S-3.. Aha! S-4!!" Now her only problem was how to open the door. "How do I open this??... Its my first day here and I'm already having such a terrible day. I might as well not go inside-" she realized that it was a sliding door and now opened it.

"Oh."

As Liwoun opened the door, she looked inside the classroom and noticed that everyone was looking at her. That even made her more nervous. Then she saw the teacher smiling at her, that made her feel a little better as she now had the courage to step in. She stood beside the teacher and the teacher said something that she could not understand.

Huh?? What's she saying?..

Liwoun thought to herself as she looked at the students, they were still staring at her. She gripped onto her blouse tightly as she felt herself sweating, she just stared at the teacher. And she said something again that she didn't understand, but she was able to understand since she pointed at an empty seat. Liwoun quickly bowed in ninety degrees as she walked towards her seat and sat down.

I just embarrassed myself on my first day!!! Oh my gosh... I feel dizzy... This is not okay!! They were all staring at me and I couldn't even say a word!!

Liwoun was so close to shredding a tear until she noticed someone was looking at her. She saw a boy staring directly into her eyes that instantly made her turn into a ripe cherry. She just kept looking at her and looked at his pin that had his name on his blazer, but she couldn't even understand what it said there. She just looked away and focused on the teacher discussing. She muttered to herself-

"I'm gonna pretend that I understand everything she's saying.."

It was lunch time, everyone else went out to the cafeteria but Liwoun just stayed at the classroom and ate lunch on her own. As she was eating she heard the door slide open and it was the boy from earlier, he had food in his hand and he was walking towards him. Is he going to eat with me?!?!?!! Liwoun thought to herself as she avoided eye contact, and when she heard a chair go close to her, that's when she found out that she was right.

And when Liwoun heard him say something that she didn't understand, that's when she found out she was in big trouble. She had to do something, that's when she had an idea. She looked at him and pointed at her mouth, then later made an X with both of her pointer fingers. Liwoun saw the look on the boy's face and was thinking that he didn't understand her. But he looked like he was thinking. "You don't understand korean, don't you?" She was relieved that he spoke japanese, she finally understood him. Liwoun smiled as she nodded. "I'm ashamed that I transferred to a korean shcool without knowing or understanding korean. I felt like I was being smashed in the head with a hammer earlier at the front.."

"You looked really cute earlier, seeing you flustered made me smile."

Liwoun did not know what to say, she was out of words. "W-well....." That boy was very honest, indeed. "What's your name?" — ".... Liwoun.." she always thought that what would her japanese name be, she always makes up name for herself and that made her happy. "Are you full japanese?" The boy asked. "Half... Half japanese." The fact that they were just staring at eachother while talking to eachother made Liwoun want to vomit already.

"That's why, well, I'm Taehyun. I bet you couldn't understand my pin name here on my blazer." Liwoun was a bit upset that it was obvious that she couldn't understand it. "You got it right.."

"I hope we can be friends, Liwoun."

"Well... I hope so.."
