15# I Found You, My Love

Soobin sat infront of the pool, as he looked at his reflection into the water. He had a towel wrapped around him but he still felt cold, as if he was sitting on the snow with nothing to make him warm. He always felt like that, cause there was no one left to hug him. It's been a year since both his mother and father died due to an earthquake in another country. According to what he remembered, his aunt didn't tell him the reason why they died. But he wanted to know the reason why they died so badly that he digged deep into the internet. Soobin eventually found out they got crushed by debris when they tried to get out of the building they were working in. His mother was sent to the hospital since she was the only one that was breathing, but she was reported dead on arrival.

Ever since, Soobin wasn't the same. He was hoping that they would come home back to korea to visit him, but they visited heaven instead. Soobin started to act differently, his aunt thought that it would just go away and he'll be back on his own. But guess what? It turned out to be depression. His aunt was really worried and tried to take him to therapy hoping that it would change. But nothing worked at all. His aunt eventually just let him and he's been fine. Well, he's not exactly fine.

Till today, Soobin keeps rethinking about that moment. He wants to get it out of his mind, but he just can't. It kept making him frustrated that he would just cry on his own. Soobin always said that he wished he was the one that should've died instead of his parents, he told and told himself that everyday that he even had thoughts of killing himself.

As he looked at his reflection on the pool, he felt tears fall down his face. Not even words can explain how much he wants to cry and still mourn about his parents death.

"God can decide wether he wants me to go to heaven or hell after this."

That was his last words before making himself fall into the six feet pool. There wasn't any lifeguards since the pool was closed, it was blocked but he managed to get in. As he fell, everything went silent. Soobin reached for the floor so he wouldn't be able to float and get up. As he was swimming deeper, he already felt that he couldn't breathe. But it didn't matter, it hurt cause it was suffocating him. But it was his own decision to do it so there's no turning back.

As Soobin was close to reaching the floor, he didn't have any air left to breathe in anymore. This was his last day on earth. He closed his eyes as his tears floated up into the water.

"I hope I can see the both of you..."

Those were the words that he said in his mind as he finally passed out due to lack of air.

"Mom, I'm gonna go over there for a second. I'll come back quickly!" — "Fine. Just don't go deep into the water, okay?" Liwoun nodded as she smiled. She swam farther and farther until she finally reached the fence that blocked the six feet pool. She looked over the fence and saw something floating on the pool, it seemed like... A towel? "What's that?..." She kept peeking on the fence to see what it was until she saw a body float. Her eyes widened as she saw a boy on the pool, she didn't even know if he was breathing or not. "Excuse me! .... Are you okay?!" Definitely not. "He's not breathing. I have to go there." Liwoun grabbed on the fence as she started to climb. She let herself fall to the pool, that's when she started to swim towards Soobin. "It's crazy how the water is reaching my mouth but I can still swim. So glad my mom forced me to take swimming lessons."

Liwoun grabbed his wrist and pulled her towards her. "Are you breathing?..." She put her over to his chest to check if he was breathing. He wasn't. "Oh my gosh. Are you dead?! Well, no. Your heart's still beating. But I have to take you out of this pool immediately!!" She grabbed his towel and put it over his body as she started swimming at the end of the pool. "Oh my days!- he's so heavy." She put him down on the ground as she looked around the place to see if there was someone. Just her luck, she saw a lifeguard walking towards the pool. "Excuse me!!! Sir! There's a boy here that drowned on the pool! Please help!!" Liwoun waved her hand so the lifeguard could see her better.

The lifeguard eventually got there and took Soobin to the clinic, Liwoun was also at the clinic as she was getting treated because she had a large scratch from the fence when she was climbing. Which she didn't notice.

"Gosh... What a good day to be in korea."

"It always made me sad whenever you walk out or when you ignore me completely. I always thought that there might be something that I've done wrong causing you to ignore me or just walk out off the scene. But... Who knew that you do that because you were flattered?" Liwoun smiled at Soobin's reaction. "What are you going to do now? Walk out?" She smiled as she teased him. Soobin knew what she was doing so he just decided to go with it. "I won't walk out, neither will I ignore you. But you know what I'll do if you keep talking like that?" — "What is it?" Soobin pulled Liwoun in for a kiss.

Liwoun was in awe. She pulled Soobin away as she stared at him like she caught him killing a chicken. Soobin smirked like he won the gold trophy in the olympic's. "Who's the one flattered now?" She looked around the place checking if there was someone that saw the both of them. As soon as she was done checking, she hit him in the shoulder. "Why the hell would you do that?! There's so many people here and what someone sees us?!?!" - "what are you gonna do?" He tried another attempt to kiss Liwoun but she just covered his mouth. "Please do this in another time..."

Soobin grabbed her hand and pulled it away from his mouth. "Can't I love you now?" Liwoun took a deep breath and sighed. "Ofcourse you can, you always do. Even though I don't ask you, you always do. And that's what I love about you." — "Oh my gosh, did you just ask me to come here and meet with you so you can throw up some rhymes???" — "Can't I love you now?..." And just by that, Taehyun was right. Liwoun did find the love that she was finding in Soobin. Both Liwoun and Taehyun were happy as they went their own ways. They just needed to go through a problem to realize that the both of them weren't exactly a match. "I won't stop you from loving me. I hope you can still love me even when you're deep asleep and dreaming about something. Why am I saying this? Because I also did that myself. You might've not known because you were busy with Taehyun, but atleast you know now. I'm really thankful that you were there for me even though I was always avoiding you before. I really didn't want you to go and just let me go by myself, I always wished that you would try to chase me and talk to me after."

Liwoun started to slowly smile after each word Soobin said, and he noticed that. He didn't know if she was happy about it or not. "Why are you smiling like that..." — "it's because it's my first time hearing you talk like this! I always knew that you were sincere and genuine about your words but you got shy about it because no one was there to talk to you." She continued smiling like a proud mother not until Soobin started to hide his face. "Why are you hiding your face??! Did I made you embarrassed??? You can hide your face but not your ears! They're totally red. I guess we took turns in being flattered..." Yes, they definitely did. "How can I focus when you're smiling like that?!?!!" Liwoun kept smiling on purpose and Soobin couldn't even talk anymore.

"At this point you're doing it on purpose."

"What?!?!! I'm not! This is just how I look!"

"Do you smile when you sleep?!?!!"

"Yes."

In the end, the both of them became genuinely happy together. Sometimes, Liwoun would think that the same thing that happened with her and Taehyun would also happen between her and Soobin. But as time passed, Liwoun realized that it wouldn't happen anymore.

Because she finally found her love.
