TIME SKIP [EARLY MARCH]
It was late at night, Eunbyeol was sitting in her room, watching a drama and eating snacks.
EUNBYEOL: Eh? What! Are they all gone already?!
She said looking inside the chips packet. Feeling disappointed and hungry, she wears her hoodie and pjs with a skull design on it and goes to a nearby convenience store to buy some more snacks.
EUNBYEOL: Huh?
She spots her step sister, haneul hanging out with her friends.
EUNBYEOL: HANEUL!!
She waves her hands shouting her name. Haneul looks at her and notices the chips on her hands.
EUNBYEOL: What are you doing here? Are you on study break?
Haneul chuckles looking at her sister.
HANEUL: You came to buy chips again, didn't you?
EUNBYEOL: Hehe.... are you taking a break too?
She says changing the subject
HANEUL: Yeah, but we have to go back soon.
EUNBYEOL: You're going to finish late, right? Should I come pick you up?
HANEUL: That's okay. He's going to walk me home.
She said nudging the guy next to her.
EUNBYEOL: Huh? It's Sunghoon... wait, they go to the same cram school?
She thought looking at sunghoon. As she takes a glance at him, he looks at her with sharp eyes, scanning her up and down making her remember her outfit.
EUNBYEOL: Oh shit!! I forgot I was dressed like a slob. Damn...this is embarrassing...
She thought fidgeting with her hair.
EUNBYEOL: Its just a theory but... I think sunghoon likes haneul.
She looks at both of them who were smiling at each other, looking just like a couple.
EUNBYEOL: I didn't think he could make an expression like that.
She thought.
EUNBYEOL: Well, he's not the first guy to like haneul anyways. Although I still do find sunghoon surprising. But it's understandable. Haneul's the total package. She's pretty and confident, and also gets good grades. She has lots of friends of course, though they're kind of scary. She's my younger sister who has it all. Well... she's not my younger sister exactly... she's kind of my foster sister. Yeah, lets go with that. We're not twins but we are of the same age.
FLASHBACK
EUNBYEOL: Do you want to grab for breakfast?
EUNBYEOL: We're not related by blood but we're still a family.
EUNBYEOL: Hey haneul, I asked what you want to eat!
Haneul was brushing her teeth and tying her hair.
HANEUL: Hmm?
EUNBYEOL: In a web novel, she would be the lead female character for sure.
HANEUL: Sorry, I started brushing my teeth
She said giving her a cheeky grin.
EUNBYEOL: She's pretty and kind with a sad backstory. Even her name is pretty, Jang Haneul.
